Steem Total Value Powered Up - $104 million - November 28, 2021

This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.

Noteworthy in the last week,

  • The modeled USD value of powered-up STEEM climbed above $100 million for the first time since May.
  • The modeled value of powered-up STEEM grew higher this week in relation to all comparison tokens, gains ranged from 15% in terms of USD to 41% in terms of LTC.
  • The number of powered up STEEM and percentage in terms of market cap were basically unchanged from week to week. The number grew by about 300k STEEM and the percentage dropped by a couple tenths of a percent.

Daily Changes

Here is a chart of daily changes in powered-up STEEM from April 11 to present. The graph also includes a linear trend line and a 28 day moving average. Frequent transitions between positive and negative began around October 11 and continued through this week.

Continued flattening. Nineteen days without a new high.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD

Continuing uptrend that began in June. Above $100 million for the first time since early May.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Tron (TRX)

The modeled value for powered-up STEEM blew past 1 billion TRX tokens, reaching levels that had not been seen since April. This represented a 40% gain during the last week.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars

Up by 19% and reaching levels that had not been seen since May.

Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap

Basically flat since early October. 32 consecutive days above 36%; 64 consecutive days above 35%; 107 consecutive days above 34%; and 127 straight days above 1/3. Will it hold above 36%? Will we go above 37% again?

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)

Up by 407 BTC, almost 28% in the last week.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Ethereum

The modeled value for powered-up STEEM gained about 25% (5,072 ETH) against ETH this week.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of litecoin

In terms of LTC, the modeled value of powered up STEEM grew by more than 40% to a level that had not been seen since April 13.
