Steem Total Value Powered Up - $80 million - August 27, 2021

This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.
Noteworthy this week, we have new highs in terms of powered up STEEM tokens as well as percentage of market cap. Powered-up STEEM has seen new highs for 44 consecutive days and increased by about 2 million in the last 7 days. The modeled total of powered-up STEEM increased by a million on August 25, alone. The modeled value of powered-up STEEM was flat or increasing against all of the other tracked tokens, with gains of 7 or 8% in comparison to TRX and LTC.

VESTED STEEM
With a weekly increase of ~1.7 million, today was the 44th consecutive new high since I started collecting data on April 10.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD
At $78.3 million, today's download was up by about $3 million over last week's, and this afternoon it went up another $1 1/2 million.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of tron (TRX)
Up by about 7%, but still running in the 800 million to 1 billion band.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars
More or less flat since last week.
Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap
34 consecutive days above 1/3 and 14 consecutive days above 34%. Still trending up, with today's new high at 34.91%. Will we see 35%?
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)
Flat against BTC.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of ethereum
Up by a few percent in terms of ETH, but basically flat for the week.
Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of litecoin
Up by about 8% and continuing a 2 month up-trend in terms of LTC value.
