Steem Total Value Powered Up - $87 million - November 21, 2021

This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.

Noteworthy in the last week,

  • In dollar terms, the modeled value for powered-up STEEM gained about 5 1/2% this week.
  • The modeled value for powered-up STEEM gained strength against all comparison tokens. Increases ranged from 4% for SBDs to 23% for LTC.
  • The percentage of market cap powered-up continued to tread water in the 36% - 37% range.

Daily Changes

Here is a chart of daily changes in powered-up STEEM from April 11 to present. The graph also includes a linear trend line and a 28 day moving average. Frequent transitions between positive and negative began around October 11 and continued through this week.

VESTED STEEM

Continued flattening. No new highs were observed this week.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD

Continuing a generalized uptrend that began in June and up by about 5 1/2% since last week.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Tron (TRX)

Tron continued to show strength this week, but STEEM managed to claw back 11% of previous declines and climbed above the 800 million guardrail at today's download time.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars

The modeled value for powered-up STEEM gained by about 5% in the last week. Still in a generalized uptrend since June.

Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap

Basically flat since early October. 25 consecutive days above 36%; 57 consecutive days above 35%; 100 consecutive days above 34%; and 120 straight days above 1/3. Will it hold above 36%? Will we go above 37% again?

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)

BTC gave back some of its prior gains, and the modeled value of powered-up STEEM gained by about 10%, or 173 BTC.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Ethereum

The modeled value for powered-up STEEM gained about 10% against ETH this week.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of litecoin

Last week, powered-up STEEM was down by 28% against LTC. This week, it reclaimed most of that ground, gaining 23% (72K LTC).
