This is next in my series of posts reviewing the amount and value of powered up STEEM on the Steem blockchain. For previous posts, see the end of this entry.

Noteworthy in the last week,

  • The total number of powered-up STEEM crossed 142 million this week for a new high, but is currently just a bit below that level.
  • Powered-up STEEM as a percentage of market capitalization has been above 36% for 11 consecutive days.

VESTED STEEM

The most recent new high was yesterday (Oct. 16) at just over 142 million STEEM powered-up. The weekly increase was about 120,000.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of USD

Down by about 6% since last week's download. I added a 28 day moving average to the graph.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of tron (TRX)

Down by roughly 6% since last week, and still hanging in the 800 million to 1 billion range.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of Steem Dollars

Up by about 5% since last Sunday

Value of powered-up STEEM as a percentage of Steem's market cap

Down a touch since last week. 11 consecutive days above 36%; 22 consecutive days above 35%; 65 consecutive days above 34%; and 85 straight days above 1/3. Will it hold above 36%? Will we see 37%?

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of bitcoin (BTC)

With BTC rising rapidly on rumors of ETF approvals, the value of powered-up STEEM is down by 15% in comparison to last week.

Value of powered-up STEEM in terms of ethereum

It seems that ETH was riding on BTC's coat tails this week. The modeled value for powered-up STEEM dropped by about 13% in comparison to ETH.

Down by about 9% since last week. Looks like LTC was riding high with ETH and BTC.
