The cows are doing well

Sylvie, Clementine and Penny are doing fantastic. Sylvie and Clementine are both near the height of our 2year old Brown Swiss steer, Dusty. Penny is about 6 inches shorter.

They will be 2 in June so they have been growing at a fantastic rate since we got them. We expect to see some good growth this summer now that they are on grass.

Sylvie and Clementine can both be handled, Clementine loves to be scratched, Sylvie tolerates it if you have a bucket. Penny will do neither.

Sylvie and Clementine have both been observed in heat but Penny has not. We will see. They will go in with the bull this summer and hopefully be milking cows by this time next year.
