The flood is receding now with the water going back down from where it sprung, from the floor's cracks

I am glad and thankful also to God that the flood water from inside our house is fast receding, it goes like that when the rain stops because at least the water from our village particularly those houses (I think) that are near the water drainage system because the unfortunate outlet of the water is to the other barrio which didn't raised their road along with their water drainage system. I guess that the former barrio captain of that barrio and also this newly elected one are not wise enough to do the same. Now their road over there had become impassable when there are heavy Monsoon rain-type which cannot be stopped but must be prepared for otherwise things like these inconveniences or deluge for others would certainly happen.

It is a good thing that our water drainage system has an outlet where it can drain extra water which is the rice irrigation waterway system but the drainage system of our Barrio has to wait for the water to recede from that irrigation system because otherwise the flood will not be able recede as fast. However, the barrio which I aforementioned gets all the water from our own drainage system and it actually affects its residents because the height of the flood when it does flood is much getting higher in the process. But regardless, it is now inevitable that when it rains, it also floods even from a few hours of heavy rainfall, then I will start to see that the cracks of our house's flooring will begin to bleed-out clear but dirty water coming from the already water-saturated ground.

I still am thankful to God that we are actually in a better situation compared to my co-patients who are living in the coastal towns because they are nearer to the same dialysis clinic where I am also getting my regular treatment sessions where they are always contending with floods even if it is not flooding because the regular high tide event which causes the ocean water to rise four meters from the low tide has been always present and it already caused the rice fields over there not a long time ago to become fish ponds if not converted to its known product which is farming mudcrabs which caters a lot of types of buyers from both the wet market and to big hotels or its middlemen. Metro Manila itself is also not a long time ago, a rice field much like a coastal town tuned into city and we can see it by its river and creek system which are evidences that it is a low-lying area too. That is why when if it get to also flood in there, the flood level gets so high that there are still parts of it reaching the second floor of some houses. The cars are also not spared because man cars are now unusable and it is a pain to even repair it because of course it will take a million pesos to repair a five million Pesos to repair such cars and the same ratio of expenses to a million PH Pesos worth of vehicle. That is why it is better to replace the car maybe with a higher ground clearance type of vehicle and at the same time for people to make ways of proactive approach to make sure that their cars would get safe if another inevitable flood event happens again. These flood events will be the new normal, that is why people should always get ready and not be so complacent because nothing will ever change with regards to the weather world-wide, it will just continue to get worse as time passes-by.
