Wind, Rain……. plagues of Locust Lol!🙄
The Northwest has been throwing every type of weather at us!😬
Today the Sun was back!😎
My green friend PEPE is such a fair weather frog Lol! 🤣
He looked out the window, and decided that he wanted to go hiking today!😊

I checked the web page of the USGS for the river level before we hiked.
80.37 Feet………🙄
Flood stage is 83.5 Feet………….
Liz was at work down in the valley………
“Silvertop it stopped raining, the river level should start dropping!🥰
Several years ago the earthen dyke’s along the riverbank broke flooding the valley towns!😮
Liz’s Optical shop had water covering the main floor!
Hopefully we are finished with rain for now, and the river level drops…….
If you look closely at the photo after the photo of PEPE, you can see water covering the highway in the valley far below.
So many people just drive through this deep water without even checking to see how deep it is!
One truck two years ago was swept away, and the driver was killed!🙄
Downed trees covered many of the Mountain gravel roads on today’s hike, from the windstorm that accompanied the rain. PEPE hopped carefully over them as we climbed higher into the mountains.
