Bireuen Dayah Education Office Holds Dayah Management Training.

A total of 30 administrators or managers of dayah in Bireuen participated in the dayah management training held by the Bireuen Dayah Education Office at the Wisma Bireuen Jaya hall, Thursday, 7/25/2024.

Head of Development and Education Division, Bireuen Dayah Education Office, Asri SE said, the objectives of holding the dayah management training activity include improving the quality of dayah management, strengthening the role of dayah in regional development and building networks and cooperation between dayah in Bireuen Regency.

The scope of the one-day training includes the basic concepts of dayah management and the basic concepts of child-friendly dayah. The main material is dayah governance management and child-friendly dayah care management.

Meanwhile, the participants in the dayah management training activity were the leaders and administrators of dayah totaling 30 people from 30 dayah in Bireuen Regency. The training methods used in this activity were lectures, discussions and simulations.

Through this training, participants are expected to understand the basic concept of dayah management and the concept of child-friendly dayah. Then, they are able to formulate the basic concept of dayah management and formulate the basic concept of child-friendly dayah for their respective dayah.

The training participants have an initial plan to develop dayah according to the dayah management concept. The meeting presented speakers from the Head of the Dayah Education Office, Anwar SAg MAP and the Aceh Green Dayah Child-Friendly trainer team, Bireuen, Asmudi SPd MPd.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen Aulia Sofyan through the Expert Staff for the Special Region of Aceh, Human Resources and Cooperation, dr. Amir Addani M Kes, among others, said that dayah in Bireuen is like a pearl that shines in the midst of the ocean of civilization.

In dayah, the young generation is forged into people with noble morals, knowledge, and usefulness for the nation and state. Dayah has become a strong fortress in maintaining religious and cultural values ​​amidst the onslaught of modernity. However, in this era of globalization, dayah is faced with various challenges.

The complexity of the era demands dayah to improve itself, improve its quality and standard, in order to be able to answer the needs of the people in the future. One strategic effort to answer this challenge is to increase the capacity of dayah leaders in the field of management.

Through this training, dayah leaders and administrators are expected to be able to understand the concepts and basic principles of modern management, such as planning, organizing, leadership, and control. Can improve the ability in managing dayah finances, to be more transparent, accountable, and effective.

It is also expected to improve the ability to manage human resources in dayah, such as educators, staff, and students. Have the ability to utilize information and communication technology, to support the teaching and learning process and dayah administration.

For example, by understanding the concept of modern management, Dayah leaders and administrators can compile a more focused and measurable curriculum, so as to produce competent graduates who are ready to face the world of work.
