Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Thank u so much for taking the time to stop by. Its been a great day and as always am here to break it down including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Lets get rolling 💨.
So I began my day with a quick twenty minutes walk around the neighborhood. It was quite cloudy ☁️ as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors handling the usual chores. Later on logging into the trending stories of the day.
In the afternoon, I stopped by the city center for a couple of errands. Still a cloudy ☁️ day😹.
I finished off with a short sunset 🌄 walk around the neighborhood this evening.
So now lets look at what has been trending around the world.
In the UK, a shocking video of a policeman kicking a man on the head and stepping on him, has gone viral🙀. The incident which happened at Manchester airport had been highly condemned.
There were protests in the streets and that policeman has been arrested for using excessive force. Thank God for mobile phones, we would never have known it.
France trending as we await the Olympics opening ceremony tomorrow in Paris. Make a date😹.
In Gaza, the situation remains the same. Israel still bombing the area of Khan Younis🙀. A scary situation looming as Israeli snipers are shooting anyone who moves in Khan Younis😿
Meanwhile, PM Netanyahu has met with president Biden in Washington DC. There were protests outside the white house as the meeting progressed.
A ceasefire deal and release of captives definitely on the agenda of that meeting.
Later Netanyahu met Kamala Harris who later gave a short statement, adding that Palestinian death and suffering must be stopped. However Israel had a right to defend itself from Hamas.
She finished by saying a ceasefire would be reached but a two state solution was the long term answer for lasting peace in the region.
Lets wait and see how things progress, will Americans be successful in their push for a Gaza ceasefire with Netanyahu?😹.
Finally, let's end with some crazy weather. UN chief has called for action to stem extreme heat epidemic.
In Morocco, there's a village that reported highest temperature of 48 celcius🙀. Not far off Spain is reporting forest fires 🔥 that are spinning out of control.
Everything will be okay, all's well that ends well 💯.
