It was a Saturday, a blissful weekend. The morning took over the nights and I was alive to see the day's glory. As an acting family man, my mom wasn't at home so I was to take care of my father and siblings in terms of food and other domestics before going out. My dad doesn't really admire my going to get fit because he feels it's waste of time for other important activities. She I got pressured into lots of tasks before finally leaving the house after everyone is settled.

It was already 10 minutes to 8Am, meaning I went to the fitness center late. When I arrived, the workout programs were done with. I was so much pained though. It's better late than never, I said to myself. Teams were selected already so I just had to be a spectator, referee and photographer for them. The matches were quite fun and it's an integral part of exercising one's body as more than one program is done through football. These includes;

  • Cardio Exercises
  • Legs exercise
  • Full body workout etc.
Football Match

These are the pictures I was able to capture while the play was on. From the pictures, you'll observe I captured every moments from when a player wants to strike to when another is dribbling his opponent. They were incredible captured moments. Yellow and blue team played consisting not just men but also women who played energetically.

First half of the football match ended 0:0 so did the second half. The match was just so funny and interesting. At least even without goals, the moments created in the football field would be remembered for weeks.

After this, I moved to cycling as one team member told me to capture and video him. I saw the energy he put into this cycling which seemed incredible so I followed suit.

I used his bicycle to cycle round the field twice. I felt the legs of a bicycle after 6 years of cycling. It was a good as workout. Even though I missed the main workout programs, the cycling covered it up as my legs were made firm and strong through it. I spent some crazy time with the man and his wife who cycled together. When I was done with this, I moved to doing personal workouts in preparation for the last engagement challenge on fitness. It's actually a teaching course though and we were told to redo one the programs we enjoyed from week 1-6

These are the programs I choose to do while someone cover me with my phone.

For week 1Jumping Jacks
For week 2Russian Twist
Week 3Calf Raises
Week 4Squat
Week 5Shoulder Taps

I did a video doing all these programs and what we were instructed to do was to beat our record. This was the most unstoppable and endurable time spent on programs since I started fitness. Thanks to coach @ngoenyi who usually motivate me with words

Doing jumping jacks for 3 minutes was crazy I mean it. My legs were rumbling and I felt the time should be fast forwarded. I had to endure the pains of hitting my feet on the ground and then lifting it again and again. My past record was 1 minute. Now, I added 2 more. I didn't rest after doing this program despite the pain. I moved to the next program which was Russian Twist, an abs attack program.

Those videoing me doubted I'll do this program for 3 minutes. I shocked them by persisting and enduring the pains that comes with feeble legs and hands. I best my old record of 40 seconds. Such an accomplishment.

I moved to doing the next program which is calf Raises, the most painful. To be sincere, I did just a minute as I couldn't endure the pain from my legs muscles.

I did the remaining three programs and concluded. The team got themselves entertained by purchasing drinks to alter their temperature. I was given a bottle of malt to step down the pain. That's how my fitness activities revolved that day.

Guess what? There's a dance challenge on Stayfit community and I'll participate | Link
