Our focus remains on ensuring participants learn critical, life-saving skills with the kind of depth and detail that medical personnel possess. This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical expertise to handle emergencies confidently and effectively. This week, our emphasis was on managing bleeding cases and addressing different types of trauma to the body. Participants were introduced to the classifications of bleeding, such as arterial, venous, and capillary bleeding. Each type was explained in detail, highlighting their distinct characteristics and the necessary steps to identify and manage them accurately. Understanding these distinctions is crucial for any first responder to assess the severity of an injury and act appropriately. Additionally, the course covered the critical differences between external and internal bleeding. Theoretical and practical exercises were assigned to reinforce this knowledge. Students were encouraged to apply their learning through these assignments, which tested not only their understanding but also their ability to translate theory into practice.
