Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 7/5/2024, under the hood it's been a 7 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 7 years.
There also as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "7 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earning rewards.
I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and shady profits before they just decide to get up and disappear but we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remained a strong and reliable token.
If you tire of addictively looking at the charts every few minutes then instead just relax and look here for the average STEEM price for your daily plan or strategy.

May 2024-Bitcoin reached over "70.000" again on March 25th and so the high season isn't done just yet thankfully. We had yet another fall from Bitcoin which likely you have witnessed recently some of the many bearish traps for investors to try and navigate. So who knows when the bullrun will be truly over, I mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However not a lot of movement from our own token this time round compared to previous years which is very sad. Perhaps we have to be more patient, others would argue that it almost doubled since it's bottom, and so while that was something to celebrate Steem as done much better in the past. However that does mean that Steem itself is essentially still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors. Last night I went to sleep way past the usual late hour, very disappointing after getting back on track for two days, this was mostly due to some image hunting and I just lost track of time. There was also the issue with difficulty trying to excess my work schedule for tomorrow now today, the system just kept giving me logging-in issue. While this particular problem as been very rare it's still annoying just how often their system goes down and yet we are suppose to use it. When I did go to rest it took me a little while to fall asleep, this was not so much because of the cold but I think more likely because my mind was busy and possibly getting to the point of being over-tired. Yes it's been cold again lately specifically during the night, it's been the case since the storm hit us 6 nights ago, at least during the day it's not been so bad. When I did go to sleep I woke-up only for my scheduled alarm, however this was set earlier than usual. This was done because I was hoping to excess my work schedule for the day, if that was not possible I would have to start ringing work to find out, while hoping I was not needed first thing in the morning haha. Half asleep I eventually stumbled my way to my desk, I noticed I received a message only 1 hour ago from the system about my log-in, I was amazed it was down for the entire night and so tried login-in. Finally I was able to see what was set for me today and luckily I only needed to be in later and so I stumbled my way back to bed. I then woke-up to my alarm ringing I did continue to rest past it but only for a few minutes as I felt already awake after all the nonsense. That alarm was already set for later than usual as I want to make sure I get enough sleep so as to not get unwell but at the moment it's definitely not enough sleep. As for the weather this morning it's thankfully changed compared to yesterday with it's dark clouds and rain, instead we are having a bright sunny start with a very blue sky, it looks like it's going to be a nice one today possibly even warm. While it was still a late start to the day this was not much of a problem as I didn't have work to get in for until later but I still wanted to get done some basic chores. When my free time was up I had a quick small breakfast and then changed to go to work. Since the morning was looking so great I did think about not wearing the extra layer however it did still feel cold and we had been warned of more storms. On the way it was still nicely sunny and I felt positive about keeping on that extra layer as even on the way it was still a little chilly. Like I expected many were already treating it as a summers day, I kept my eye to see if the man from yesterday was sleeping under the bridge again but nothing. Yes for some reason there was a man under one of the bridges sleeping, initially I thought he was perhaps a homeless man but the guy had all clean clothing on him. Either he was just literally sleeping under a bridge or he's freshly homeless. When I arrived into work once again I was called by the superior, I thought surely not another dam test! Luckily no more tests but she wanted to confirm some of my information with me.. oh and while at it to sign some birthday cards argh. Actually one of the cards to sign was for the guy who normally deals with the extra work the superior told me to get in signed before he get's in, this was my reminder that today there would be extra work to get done. Yesterday I mentioned being very annoyed checking over the weekly task sheet, I have a team assignment to complete. It's not because it's a group task that it annoys me but rather our task is basically to clear and close our space and so in turn giving us all less working space. This really annoys me because it's like there as been no thought into the repercussions of this move. For example during Christmas I know dam well we needed all that space and a lot more! It also means many more things are going to have to be organised differently as the extra work comes in and so taking us longer every time we have to do it. It just makes no sense and yet they always want us to be faster at our jobs? I'm not happy at all and will be voicing all my concerns, and I did just that when I spoke to a superior who was leaving. After my rant he informed me that the possible end plan is much worse, the morons at the top are after to close down the whole floor as it will save them more money. I guess in other words it continues with the whole theme of shutting us down, I think their plan is to do it slowly so that when it comes to it things will happen fast and of course we could all very likely no longer have a job. Still it's constantly because of these silly bad decisions that many companies have to face closure, that's right it's not always because of what you read on the papers some rubbish about no business when the reality is because of the idiots at the top who have no clue. During break I sent messages to my friends informing them of the bad news that the Friday and Saturday are no go days for me to go to the event and that our last hope is on the Sunday which I will have to wait another week for the information to be available. Returning from break my colleague informed me there was still extra work left from yesterday that as just became available, not what I wanted to hear as it means I would need to deal with that first. This cause my colleague to be rightly worried about the work being set today to reach completion. With that I expected later to get a call from one of the superiors about staying longer, well I was right about that but didn't really mind. Once I finished work I expected good weather on the way home because I started to feel too warm about 2 hours before leaving. Yes the sun was out but not as bright compared to the morning and I thought it would of been warmer out but then again it's like the end of the day. There was a few things I was going to get done on the way home and when I arrived home but since it was already so late it will have to leave it for another day. I'm still waiting to get a reply from my friend so that everybody can more or less make their final decisions about the event coming next month. I was finally able to see what my schedule would be for the Friday and Saturday of the event weekend, and annoyed I can't make it for any of those days as I will be working during all the event time. And so now my only last hope to attend any day of the event will be on the Sunday, but unfortunately to know that I'm going to have to wait another week to see what the overlords decide.. As for Steemit.com there as been talks about doing PR for the site which as all been done before and while in one way adding more people could help the value of Steem I believe it would be better to try and educate those who are already with us. And I don't mean education on creating content but rather on how the site and the token is valued "again not by it's content" but instead by holding Steem, buying etc. Others are working on updating the look of the Steemit.com website to something more "modern" I was very worried about this but the changes aren't anything drastic. They have got to the point of having alpha testers. What I would like to see is just easier excess to all parts of the website. Sometimes I feel have to be too much on the right page to get to where I want to go.. if that makes sense. Onwards there as been mostly promises of war happening everywhere, more countries are slowly getting and warning their citizens to prepare for war. Such a war in this day and age will be devastating and so we must continue to work to remain at peace and not fight in wars that don't belong to us. Before we finish I would like to ask if anybody can recommend any website to watch movies or series for free without a VPN, a upvote will be sent if it's good.
