It's always interesting to follow the battle between Steem and HIVE

I remember after the fork that made HIVE and Steem to different platforms, there was a big battle that lasted for a while between the two tokens, before HIVE said goodbye and went to constant higher prices than the price of the Steem token.

It has remained like that, but on days like today, the difference between the price of the two tokens is very small, tighter than it has been in a very long time.

Right now, the price of one Steem is $0.34, while the price of one HIVE is $0.39. That is a difference of approximately 15%. Where is this heading? I can see much more development work and dApps produced for HIVE, so in a way I would understand why the price of the HIVE token would be higher than that of the Steem token, but I also know that due to the SBD price, it is much more profitable to blog on Steemit, at least if you get a certain amount of upvotes with a higher value.

But then again, many people take the SBD and convert them to Steem, and then sell them for profit, so the selling pressure is also higher on the Steem token.

I am not sure, but I am curiously following this ride to see which if HIVE will remain the highest priced token of the two, or if Steem can catch some steam and get back on the throne.
