Although Elon Musk was the first to suggest the manufacture of autonomous driving vehicles and create his innovative Full Self Drive (FSD) software package, other companies like Waymo seemed to be taking the lead, even companies like Mercedes have already designed their own FSDs with great success.

The presentation also mentioned a new update with which, through a mobile application integrated into autonomous robotaxis and designed to improve the transportation experience, with which users will be able to request a trip and see the time estimated arrival of the nearest robotaxi or the current location of the vehicle.

En la presentación también se habló una nueva actualización con la que a través de una aplicación para el móvil integrada en los robotaxis autónomos y diseñada para mejorar la experiencia de transporte, con la que los usuarios podrán de solicitar un viaje y ver el tiempo de llegada estimado del robotaxi más cercano o la ubicación actual del vehículo.

This application will also allow passengers to select their destination, adjust the internal temperature before their arrival, select music or other types of entertainment according to their preferences or modify the seat configuration directly from their mobile devices, all of this to improve the travel experience of the passengers.

Esta aplicación permitirá además a los pasajeros seleccionar su destino, ajustar la temperatura interna antes de su llegada, seleccionar la música u otro tipo de entretenimiento según nuestras preferencias o modificar la configuración de los asientos directamente desde sus dispositivos móviles todo ello para mejorar la experiencia de los pasajeros.

But that's what these disruptive technologies have, when they are announced they have enormous hype and everyone speculates about the wonders of the new technology, but the reality is that you always have to wait at least one or two decades before these technologies become everyday and will succeed only if they are profitable.
