Being so busy lately, it's hard to keep up with any hobbies

I've been searching for a hobby that can be quick and on the go, and wanted to get into photography. But my camera quality always is lacking when it comes to taking pictures of anything but food.

The box

Eventually, I came across an advert for the Instax Pal, a really small camera that can fit in the palm of your hand at 43 x 44 millimetres, and is so light!

Obviously, I bought it, I got it in the colour "milky white" as for some reason, it was £10 (60 STEEM) cheaper than all of the other colours.
Overall, the Instax Pal was £68 (408 STEEM) at the time I bought it, and I got a case for it at £9.99 (59.94 STEEM).

One thing to note is that unlike other Instax camera, this one does not have a built in printer (it's too small), so you can buy separately the printer or just link it to your phone with Bluetooth, and download any pictures you take (which I will do).

In terms of internal storage, it can only hold 50 pictures at a time. This can be increased with the addition of a microSD card (I still haven't decided whether I want one yet).

So what is included?

In the box with the camera, it comes with a charging cable, and a loop attachment.
This loop attachment acts as a camera strap, but you put it on your thumb while you take pictures, or you can attach it to the top of the small camera - this helps you know what your camera will actually pick up in its pictures.

So, when you take pictures, you can't actually see what the camera is picking up as there is no screen on the back, only the shutter button. Instead, you can connect it to your phone (using their app) to remotely take pictures, clicking the shutter via your phone.
I've tried both, and there's no difference, just fun really!

The pictures

Obviously, the camera, being so small, and the price it is, doesn't take high quality pictures. I knew this before I bought it, and wanted that 'retro' look.
I'm not planning to take any pictures of food with it, but for the sake of this post, I thought it was the easiest example.

The picture above was taken with the instax pal, it takes pictures with the "instax frame" already applied, and you can add emojis, filters, and text onto any pictures you take. You can choose the text's colour as well.

Overall

The size of the camera is just as I wanted, and it's really easy and quick to use.
It's so cute and the quality is what I expected and aimed to get.
For the price, I think it's really good, and I'm very happy with it.
