Walk Through The City

I get used to walking through the old part of this city, Bucharest, from Romania, by chance and the capital of the country. It is the largest city in the country, one of the busiest (by cars) and, consequently, polluted.
In these conditions it is not advisable to walk through the city but is a solution, which is called weekend! The inhabitants of the city rest these days from the end of the week, especially in the morning, so then the best time for a walk.
The old center of the city makes all the money. Because it is old, they say old, most of the buildings are older than one hundred years, some are even 150 years old and many churches are older for 300 years.
I like the Palace Square, where is the former royal palace, now a museum.
The palace seems to me a pretty ordinary building and I think I had modest kings. In fact, the most important of them, Carol I made their crown of steel, not gold, as the kings and emperors get used to.
That is why I chose to choose to photograph the statue of the king, in front of the palace.
There are not only old buildings and monuments in this market. A controversial monument can be seen and criticized by many, the monument of the Romanian Revolution di 1989.
It was also told "Potato in the pitch"!
I could not make an opinion about this monument but I was amazed by its exorbitant cost.
Another important building in the area is the Palace of Phones, which was the tallest building in the city between the two world wars of the last century.
And I will finish showing a modern building, built in this century, a hotel in front of the Palace of Phone.
I hope I managed to show something representative of my city and I hope it was to your liking.
