It is the third week of learning makeup and this week preference was given to how to shade eyeshadow the different types of eyes were identified the different types of eyeliner was also identified so as to know which one will fit each person's face it was an interesting class though. I read up and I understood everything that was taught in the course outline and I proceeded to carry out my homework task be free to check on my task below

As seen in the lesson, you must do shading on both the upper and inner eyelid, with the three shades of your preference and blend it as best as possible; In addition, explain and investigate a little about your eye types and what is the best way to enhance your look according to that type. 04 points

To perform this task, I used different eyeshadow to enhance my look then I wet the bristle brushes a little and used it for my makeup as this helps the work comes out fine.

So to begin the task I first of identify my eye type so as to help me choose the best colours to use and how to apply it.

I have almond eyes, the reason I said so is that after researching and reading through the different types of eyes, I discover I have an almond eyes. I also found out that this eyes can be discovered when the eyelid covers both top and bottom of the Iris and the white part of the eyes are not seen.

It also have an oval shape narrow corners which means that the outer and the inner corners are approximately aligned with each other, they are equal.

Therefore, the best eyeliner type for my almond eyes is the winged liner or the cat eye type. This two types is achieved by a thin lines in the inner corner of the eye, then it gradually gets thicker as it run towards the outer corner of the eyes.

Shading

After identifying my eye type, I choose a neutral concealer to shade my upper and inner eyelid as I didn't have primer then I get my eyeshadow ready for the shading.

  1. I shades the fixed eyelid which requires I used a lighter shade of eye shadow which will help in the blending and gives me a dinner look

  2. To shade the mobile eyelid, I choose another lighter eye shadow that is pink, this shadow is applied close to the conner of the eyes and it will be so pronounced giving my makeup that beautiful look. I blend it consistently to give that gradient look.

  3. The last shading I did was the darkest tone. I applied black shade of shadow in a V shape and blend it smoothly to achieve a gradient look.

💄- For this answer you will have to draw the eyeliner on your eyes in the same way as shown in practice, so that it is precise and enhances your look; tell us about your experience and if this step was too difficult for you. 04 points

I made a cat eyes liner. It was really challenging to get it accurately, In fact at a point my hands were shaking I felt as if the eyeliner will fall into my eyes and I was seriously seeing tears dropping from my eyes that was just caused by my imagination that I will puncture my eyes.

This is because all my makeup is being done by someone I have not done this part before by myself so I really felt I won't be able to do it perfectly but then I talk to myself and I was calm and relax then I gently created a thin line, I extended it towards the corner of my eyes.

Then I take a breathe, and continued by thickening the line at the edge of it.

See the images below on the steps

  1. I drew a very thin line in on the edge of my eyelids then towards the end I made an ascending form.
  1. I drew another line because I'm going to thick it so this second line close the outline forming a triangle shape in an ascending form.

  2. Then in the last step, I created a thin line on the eyelid to merge with my already drawn eyeliner on my eyelid and I filled the line space to have my final result as seen below 👇.

Final look

The steps makes it easier for me to do my make up very well and smoothly without messing my eyes as I initially thought of.

💄 - Explain which mascara brush best suits your needs and why; also, tell us if you use the eyelash curler or on the contrary, if you glue false lashes, either in dots or in runs. 01 point

I used the mascara brush that comes with my mascara and it's best suit my eyes because I was able to use it to align my eyelashes even though it was a glued lashes.

The mascara wand I used if fluffy wands it has spaces that makes the mascara spread neatly and evenly on the lashes while also thickening it as you can see.

Naturally, I don't even have eyelashes and so anytime I'm doing makeup I do use a glued lashes so as to make my makeup looks so beautiful. For this contest, I used the in runs glued eye lashes.

💄- Research and explain what is the best way to clean and wash our implements and how often it should be done to avoid future skin problems. 01 point

You need to be very careful with the use of makeup tools so as to avoid getting some skin infections or any other problem of the skin. That is why it is always advisable to wash and keep all makeup brushes and powder foams clean at all times. It can't be wash at very time use but at each use, clean the brushes with wipes.

After doing my research I discovered that the best and simplest way of doing this is to wash it with water and mild soap and some disinfectants. For the professional makeup artist that uses their tools to do makeup on faces of different people it is advisable that they use disinfectant to disinfect their tools so as not to infect their clients.

Washing the tools gently with warm water, mild soap mild disinfectant then dry it is the best. All these brushes should be kept dry so as not to grow some moulds or invite some insects to live in them.
