Life they say is short, just like a mist it appears today and disappears tomorrow.

Let me quickly take our minds back to a post I made about a certain friend of mine whose mum had cancer. But as proposed, she didn't even last till the expected death month which was July 2024, she kicked the bucket on the 17th March, 2024. Such a painful death.

I couldn't say it, because it was all emotional consoling the entire family.

By the way, I won't talk much about the burial, but rather, I would focus on what we the living can be thinking off.

My friend’s mum

On the 22nd of this March, just about a week after her death, her burial was conducted and I in person was an attendee though from over here on zoom.

The burial was done in the U.S. It was 7pm here in Nigeria whereas, it was 1pm over there in Bowling Green, U.S.A.

Living this life is some huge task as opposed to just existing in it. Reading John C. Maxwell's book of "make everyday count" now makes so much sense.

With 12 practical steps, out of experience, Maxwell well elucidated how you can make your everyday worth it.

Reading every chapter, I couldn't help but agree with him. If you want to, you can check up the Book at Amazon or any other book website.

John Maxwell also has other amazing credible boost you wouldn't want to miss out on.

No two days are the same - you know, In one of Maxwell's lessons, he said, at the end of each day, think about it, what could you have done better, what could you not have done?

What decisions did you make? How did it affect you or others? This way, each day will make more sense and be even better than the former.

Sometimes, take a pause and reflect. Ask your self what course are you really living for? what in particular are you doing with your life? How profitable or substantial is what you are doing?

In a sense I'm not saying be a workaholic, I'm saying be one full of value. Have value for your work. Live, do not exist.

Every day is not a certainty, take a rest, enjoy life, sometime go a treat, spoil yourself a bit, breathe the cool air at the beach side if you have one. Love yourself and love others too.

Life isn't that serious - you know, it could be a big joke some days, other days life threatening.

Sometimes I want to say life is 50/50 but come to think of my friends late mum.

One day, everything won't be the same. You will age, people around you will grow, climate might change, You might face serious challenges, illnesses, disaster or just some probably, lose one in death.

Some other day, you might find so much favor, so much luck, having all you need and lacking nothing.

Still, other days might be a combination of the former but in different proportions.

Every person is a living story from birth up until death, Have you ever thought about your story? Have you ever carved out your story?

Every story doesn't always turn out to be as thought out. But, will your story be a boring one whose birth only led to death, with zero significance?

Or would it be the interesting story of one who touched many other lives, left footprints, trademarks and legacies to follow? One whose survival, perseverance and persistence motivates others to survival?

If your story happens to be the former, it's sad to say but the truth is, you only existed, you never lived. No one in his right senses wants to exist and then exit the same way.

What makes life interesting is not the wild parties, not the heavy drinking, not immoral lifestyle, not recklessness.

It's predominantly ruled by love. Self love and live for others then every other factor can follow suit.

Alot is depriving people of living today. Poverty, low self esteem, peace of mind and bad health that of my friends mum who suffered from cancer.

Not just her, many around the world today are slaves to these cruel condition. I am not a physician, I'm not a money mogul but I will always do the best of my ability to ofer assistance to those who are suffering from life threatening sicknesses like cancer and many other conditions.

Life is a mystery, before anything deprived you of living your story, don't forget to make each day you live count.
