WITHOUT THE ANOINTING, YOU CANNOT REIGN

12 SO he sent and brought him [David] IN. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, “ARISE, ANOINT HIM; for this is the one!”
13 THEN Samuel took the HORN OF OIL and ANOINTED HIM IN THE MIDST OF HIS BROTHERS; and THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD CAME UPON DAVID from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah."
1 Samuel 16:12,13 (NKJV)

• The enemy would continue to take an advantage of the ignorance of those Believers who do not know their birthrights—their inheritances in Christ Jesus.

• Divine ability is the Anointing of the Holy Spirit on a Saint, a Believer, to occupy and enjoy the royalty bestowed on him or her on the earth:
  "AND HAS MADE US KINGS AND PRIESTS TO HIS GOD AND FATHER, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen" (Revelation 1:6 NKJV).
• If you walk and do things with the consciousness of who you are in Christ Jesus, you will not venture to put your hands in Sin—not live in Sin.
• Jesus has made us, the Believers, kings and priests to God (1 Peter 2:5,9; Revelation 5:10). Priests are revered people, they do not go about fighting. Kings are of honour, they cannot be seen in wrong places (2 Timothy 2:19-21)
• If you do not know your Worth, you will live a carefree life. Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, you are empowered to assume your responsibility as kings and priests.

• The purpose of the Anointing
I. It gives you WISDOM to rule: "THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING, The Spirit of COUNSEL and MIGHT, The Spirit of KNOWLEDGE and of the FEAR OF THE LORD" (Isaiah 11:2 NKJV).

11 SO God replied, “Because YOU HAVE ASKED FOR WISDOM IN GOVERNING MY PEOPLE WITH JUSTICE and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies—
12 I WILL GIVE YOU WHAT YOU ASKED FOR! I will GIVE you A WISE AND UNDERSTANDING HEART such as no one else has had or ever will have!"
(1 Kings 3:11,12 NLT).

II. The anointing of the Holy Spirit will open your understanding, and the creative dimension of reasonings that you possess would amaze others, even you:
1 THEN the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: 2 “See, I have called by name BEZALEL the son of URI, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. 3 AND I HAVE FILLED HIM WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD, IN WISDOM, IN UNDERSTANDING, IN KNOWLEDGE, AND IN ALL MANNER OF WORKMANSHIP, 4 TO design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, 5 in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, AND TO WORK IN ALL MANNER OF WORKMANSHIP" (Exodus 31:1-5 NKJV).

III. The Anointing empowers your words: "SO Samuel grew, AND THE LORD WAS WITH HIM AND LET NONE OF HIS WORDS FALL TO THE GROUND" (1 Samuel 3:19 NKJV).

• It is the Anointing that upgrades the authority given to you; your tongue is empowered and that made your words powerful and productive. When you speak, what you declare comes to pass or materializes.

IV. The Anointing would clear the barriers along your way in the journey of life. It removes the barriers and obstacles caused by the enemy—the devil.

• The reigning of a Believer on earth is by the Anointing. The Believers have the flesh, the world, and the devil, to contend with in the world.
• There is no free zone on earth, the devil would want to stand on your way, but through the Word of God, prayer, and the Anointing of God on your life; you will subdue him—put him where he belongs.

• How to receive the Anointing.
I. New birth is the foundation for the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.

• You cannot reign on earth without total submission to Christ—you fully surrender your life to Him, accept Him as your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
• You have to repent of your Sins, and allow Jesus Christ to take over your life, living and walking in line with His Word (John 15:14).

II. Baptism of the Holy Spirit. You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you:
"BUT you shall RECEIVE POWER when the Holy Spirit has COME UPON YOU; and you shall be WITNESSES to Me [Jesus] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, AND TO THE END OF THE EARTH" (Acts 1:8 NKJV).

• The foundation of walking in power, the Anointing, is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
• And It is not enough to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, even with the evidence of speaking in tongues, you have to keep the communion with God through the utterances He gives to you in prayer (1 Corinthians 14:2).

III. Feed your mind and spirit with the Word of God. When the Word God percolates your inward being, your spirit, you encounter power:
"THEN the SPIRIT ENTERED me when He spoke to me, and SET me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me" (Ezekiel 2:2).

IV. Your heartfelt prayer releases the anointing on your life. When you talk to God from your heart, you encounter power (Jeremiah 29:13; Exodus 33:18-23; 34:29).

• The Anointing of the Holy Spirit would not be released on you, without a consistent heartfelt Prayers.
• Take note:
  a. The praying in the language of the Holy Spirit, tongues, for an extended period of time daily would cause the power, the Anointing, to be increased on your life (Jude 20).
  b. Impartation. The anointing can be extended to you through the materials of someone who has the Anointing on his or her life. In other words, you receive the Anointing through the reading and studying of the books of the people whom you desire the grace, Anointing, on their lives.
  THE Anointing can be received by transference, and that through the anointed materials such as clothes or whatever which has contact with the person who has the Anointing:
  11 NOW GOD WORKED UNUSUAL MIRACLES BY THE HANDS OF PAUL, 12 SO that even HANDKERCHIEFS OR APRONS WERE BROUGHT FROM HIS BODY TO THE SICK, and the DISEASES LEFT THEM and the EVIL SPIRITS WENT OUT OF THEM" (Acts 19:11–12 (NKJV).

  ALSO, Anointing can be received through the watching of the teaching videos, on line, and through any device; of the ministers whom you desire their Anointing.
  c. Your personal contact, that is, one on one encounter with the person who has the Anointing, could make the Anointing rub off on you (Deuteronomy 34:9).
  THIS is usually done through the laying on of hands and prophetic utterances BY the anointed person—the Minister:
  "THEREFORE I remind you to stir up the GIFT OF GOD WHICH IS IN YOU THROUGH THE LAYING ON OF MY HANDS" (2 Timothy 1:6 NKJV).
  d. The administering of the anointing oil (1 Samuel 16:13).
• The Anointing can be received when an anointed servant of God pours or anoints you with oil—power of God is released or transferred to you through the exercise.

• Walking in the authority of the Anointing on your life.

• After the Anointing or the power has been extended to you, you are expected to work with it. You are anointed for a purpose!
  a. The Anointing was given to liberate and bless mankind.
  b. The Anointing comes gradually, And as you work with the measure given to you, God increases the measure and promotes you higher and higher—According to your faithfulness.
  c. Your faithfulness in using the Anointing to bless others will cause the increase of it in your life.
• Another important thing to note is that, to be in authority, you have to be submissive, know your Superior—those who are higher than you in the Ministry work (Matthew 8:9).

• You need to also know that your patience would be tested before you can be enthroned (James 1:3,4; 5:10,11).

• God would not anoint a vessel who is not Broken—a carnal or sensual or fleshly-ruled Believer (Romans 8:5-8).
• You cannot bless other people if you still have a number of negative characters, defects, in your life.
• Let God change you. Cooperate with Him, to mould and shape you, straighten you to be the type of vessel He wanted to use for His purpose: 19 NEVERTHELESS the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord KNOWS those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ DEPART FROM INIQUITY.” 20 BUT in a great house there are not only VESSELS of GOLD and SILVER, but also of wood and clay, some for HONOUR and some for DISHONOUR. 21 THEREFORE if anyone CLEANSES himself from the latter, HE WILL BE A VESSEL FOR HONOUR, SANCTIFIED AND USEFUL FOR THE MASTER, PREPARED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK. 22 FLEE also youthful LUSTS; but pursue RIGHTEOUSNESS, faith, love, peace with THOSE WHO CALL ON THE LORD OUT OF A PURE HEART" (2 Timothy 2:19-22 NKJV).
• God wants you to reign on the earth, and that could only be through the Anointing He puts on your life; which would only be gotten through your cooperation with Him—when you live a life of consecration and unwavering commitment to Him.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Whatever would not allow you to live in health, and wellness, such is cursed and dislodged in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• I declare you for all round peace and blessings in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
