Hello.🧚‍♀️

I love plants and cats. These two are always present in my life. My love for plants started thanks to my mother. Since I was little, we had various plants in our house and my mother took care of them like her children. It seemed crazy to me back then, but now I've become like my mother. I even became more interested in plants than she did. When two plant-loving people lived in a house, we started to have a lot of plants in our house. In time, I will introduce our plants to you. Today I just want to show you my favorite Crassula Ovata plant.

Two years ago, I saw this plant in my neighbor's neighbor and took a leaf and brought it home to reproduce for myself. Wherever I see a plant that I like, I always buy a piece of it to reproduce. That day, with the permission of the neighbor, I plucked a leaf from the Crassula plant. Are you doing like me? For some reason I can't help myself.

Crassula, which I reproduced from the leaf you see above, is 8 months old here. Over time it started to grow and become my favorite plant.

By the way, it is called money flower in my country. In fact, according to a belief, it is said that if you plant this plant in a pot and put a coin in its soil, your fertility will increase in your home. I haven't tried it, but I will during the soil change. Whatever the outcome, it would be fun to do this ritual.

It has been 1.5 years since I plucked it and brought it home, and it has grown to the size you see now. In a few days, I'm going to put it in a deep pot. This plant loves deep and wide pots. Thus, it will relax its roots and grow faster and healthier.

To reproduce the plant; If you want, you can cut a branch from the leaf and wait until it is rooted directly on the soil. This is how I rooted. But some of them take branches from the leaves and root them in water. The choice is entirely yours. You can try both if you wish.

How does the plant like the environment?

  • Since it is from the cactus family, it likes environments with plenty of sun and light. It stops developing in an environment below 16 degrees. Therefore, it should be positioned in warm environments.

  • It should not come into direct contact with the sun. You can position it indirectly or in front of the glass.

  • Once a week in winter. It should be watered every two days in summer. In fact, I usually touch his soil to check if he's thirsty. This is the safest method for watering plants. If the soil is dry, I water it.

  • It starts to shed its leaves when it is in a windy environment, excessive watering, direct sunlight and cold environment. That's why you should pay attention to where you place your plant. I keep my plant on my glassed-in balcony. This place acts as a greenhouse for my plant. I keep it on a coffee table 20 cm from the glass.

My plant continues to grow very well. I hope this article was useful for you. Take good care of yourself until we see you next time.
