White Gladioli on the inside | Close-ups session.
Greetings friends of WOX, today I bring you another beautiful species of flower that has been blooming in our garden in recent days, its size and rarity give it elegance and distinction.
The 5 selected close-ups
Photo N° 1
It is a species of white Gladioli. A plant that blooms once or twice a year, remaining underground for the rest of that period, developing its onion-like bulb. |
Photo N° 2
Although Wikipedia says that there is a wide variety of gladioli in all colors, these white ones seem much more spectacular to me placed in clusters reaching for the sky. |
Photo N° 3
In this session I focused on taking shots towards the interior where beautiful blurred shades of green, purple, and yellow appear amidst the softness of white petals. |
Photo N° 4
Nature is so wise that it arranges the stamens and pistils (its reproductive organs) in such a way that when pollinating insects arrive, they are loaded with pollen and carry it to the pistils. |
Photo N° 5
I worked with the A7S camera on my cell phone, in macro mode. I edited the photos with Lightroom mainly in terms of color and light, darkening and creating high saturation to highlight the colors inside the flower. |
