DAY ONE, GET CLOSE TO WILDLIFE ON A BIKE

A few meters to the Rothschild's giraffe 🦒! You can never imagine how beautiful this moment can be, getting a mountain bike and cycling near to such wildlife.
With this experience, it's only in Lake Mburo national park in Uganda where it is allowed. My fiend Godfrey and I had two different groups of tourists who were all doing cycling on Uganda and we suggested they do around this beautiful park.
Being the smallest savanna park here, it is gifted with unique wildlife and birds species which are not found in most of other parks.
The park is 370 square kilometer by size having about sixty eight mammal species including zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands, buffalos, and many more. It has attracted many tourists coming to Uganda to see all this wildlife on foot and on a bike. They also allow game drives but having a walk or a bike ride inside the park to go see the animals is more fun.
You are given a trained guide from Uganda wildlife authority (UWA) to guide you and take you through the whole procedure.
They are mostly armed to scare shoot the aggressive animals in case of the encounter but otherwise it is always cool and calm inside.
We got lucky it was after the rain and we came in otherwise we would have been deeply soaked. It's a rainy season here so rain gears help so much.
For anyone planning to visit Uganda, lake Mburo national Park is highly recommended. We ended the day well with a coffee ☕ on our next stop over in lake Bunyonyi Birdsnest resort.
I will always keep you posted for the next venture.
