I want to share with you my Chicken Feet Soup.
Not everyone love to eat this but don't judge it until you tried it. Is it healthy? In fact this is a very good source of collagen and calcium. And affordable, for as low as 100 pesos per kilo ( 8 STEEM ). I bought 1 kilo and made this mouth watering soup recipe
Ingredients:
Chicken Feet
Ginger
Malunggay leaves
Lemon Grass
Onion
Tomatoes
Green Chili
3 cloves of Garlic
Pepper and Salt to taste
3/4 liters of water
Procedure:
- 1.Wash and prepare the chicken feet and also the vegetables. Then sort the malunggay leaves from its stalks and stem.
- 2.Hot a pot and add the chicken feet and cover until its oil went out. Add the slice onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, green chilis, and lemon grass. Mix and saute the ingredients.
- 3.Add water and simmer until chicken feet becomes soft. Put salt and pepper to taste. And finally, add the malunggay leaves and cook for 2 minutes and done.
This can make 8-10 servings. It is flavorful and rich from collagen. Lemon grass and ginger added the aroma and the malunggay leaves is constant ingredients for soup in the Philippines because most of the backyards has it. |
