Introduction
Cabbage is a green salad with grains similar to chickpeas that are enclosed in pods.
Peas are green in color when raw, when dried they turn greenish in color and taste dull. Cultivated in every region of Pakistan and India, it is both a food and a medicine. Therefore, in the form of vegetables, they can be cooked and eaten as desired.
Benefits
The temperament of peas is cold and dry. Chemically, it thickens the blood and increases longevity and produces gas in the stomach.
It is also used for treatment and as a food it is cooked with various vegetables and especially with meat.
When eaten cooked with meat, peas show very beneficial effects.
But its continuous use starts causing flatulence in the stomach and intestines.
Eating peas immediately stimulates the lungs, causing copious expectoration, and the patient thinks he has coughed up a lot, even though he cannot clear his chest of mucus without coughing. Because it eliminates the phlegm, that's why it is called a phlegm remover.
Like chickpeas, it also has tonic effects, so it is ground and eaten by nervous patients to increase their strength.
The temperament of peas is dry and cold, that is why it dries up the moisture, so people who have become very fat eat it by making satu or by baking bread and eating it. The body becomes thin in a short period of time.
People who eat its bread after cooking it, get very dry, like gram, its flour is applied on the face and body and spots are removed.
Peas are commonly used as curries in Pakistan and India, they are used to cook pea pulao, pea meat, pea mince and pea potatoes. It is also used in winter soups. Young and old all love to eat it.
