Hello dear Steemians! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this amazing contest which is organized by @suboohi in this Steem For Pakistan community. The topic of this contest is. "1 picture 1 story". In which I'm going to share a very interesting real life story of a Bollywood Actor. So let's start.

A successful actor who had no shortage of work, got name-fame-money-status, but suddenly one day he decides that he will live an anonymous life leaving his favorite job.
What happened to the actor who was forced to take this decision? Did Bollywood do parcelty with him? Or suddenly he stopped getting movies? If such questions are coming in your mind then there is only one answer and that is 'No'. So what is the reason and who is that actor? Friends, you will remember the superhit movie 'Phool Aur Kante' of the 90s. In this college life-based film, many new faces were seen together including today's superstar Ajay Devgan and Bollywood as well as successful South actress Madhu, that name is Rocky i.e. actor Arif Khan.
Yes, after the success of his first film, his character name became his identity and he was known as Rocky. In this film, Arif Khan played the role of a villain named Rocky who is the son of the college chairman and also lies behind drugs business in the college as well as the film actress Pooja i.e. Madhu. Arif played this character so beautifully that not only this character became his identity but also became famous as a young villain of Hindi films.
Friends, you will be surprised to know that Arif neither knew ABCD of acting nor he wanted to become an actor from the beginning. Actually Arif's father used to work in sewing and Arif had learnt dress designing from him but born in Mumbai and grew up in film environment Arif wanted to make this job a career in modeling instead of making his business and it They used to audition everywhere and take their photos and roam around office by office. Although he couldn't get a job in modeling, at the same time producer Dinesh Patel was planning his new film Phool and Kante with the new starcast.
The hero and heroines of this film were selected but the selection of the actor was yet to be done for the role of the villain. College life-based action- In the story of a romance film where actor Ajay Devgan and Madhu were debuting in Bollywood with this film, a new face was also being searched for the role of villain because of the story and starcast Couldn't have taken any actor established from, college boy's role from that.
Once upon a time, actors like Shakti Kapoor and Gulshan Grover were perfect for such a character, young Arif looked perfect for this role and signed for Rocky's role. The movie became super duper hit and Arif became superhit too. People liked the pair of villain Arif with Ajay Devgan very much. Although Arif says seeing him and Ajay Devgan in this film, people used to say that the hero Arif and the villain Ajay Devgan should have been.
Apparently after the villain succeeded, Arif appeared in more than a dozen films and became a busy Bollywood actor. Arif continuously appeared in 90s films like Smile, Baaghi Sultan, Mohra, Virgati, Tejaswini, Ego, Love and Jang, Zameer and Boyfriend but suddenly they started getting away from films. The last time they appeared in the 2007 film 'A Mighty Heart', after that they made distance from the films. No one knew where Arif went after that nor did the media agreed to search for him amidst the gathering of new actors.
There was no era of social media then that people would keep getting updates about them but some of his viral videos on social media some time ago showed people that Arif has joined the Tablighi Jamaat and promote Islam I am engaged in. Arif who has been away from the film world for 24 years is now difficult to recognize. Once handsome look Arif now looks completely Maulana with a beard and after leaving movies Arif has completely become a religious person.
Arif says he used to run from all these things before and was completely happy with his film life. They didn't even know the meaning of the word 'deen'. They thought day and night day. Actually Arif was religious, his mother, brother and wife had a big hand. Where Arif used to run away from these things, his brother Yusuf Khan had left his bank job and became a religious person. Although Arif's father was very happy with his success and name in his films, Arif's mother didn't like his work in films. Arif's wife also liked his work in the beginning but slowly she also felt that Arif should stop working in films.
Arif says that once his brother sent a cleric of the Jamaat to explain to him, they started giving him money thinking him a fakir. Then he asked Arif "Die or not? Arif got very angry after hearing this question. He replied, "If you are older than me, you will die first." "That cleric did not say ""Yes I will die first but answer if you will be buried in the grave or beard?" "Aarif came in a dizzy and said "The strange question is how will the car go in the grave, there will be a beard. "After all, that cleric tried to explain enough that they should stop chasing film line and money and serve Islam but Arif didn't understand anything.
Although after the Maulvi left, Arif's mind remembered something. He would think in the middle but then he would have been busy in his work.
One day Arif's brother gave him a card and said there is a jamaat from England where all are his fans so once they go and meet him. There is also a doctor who wants to meet him. Arif said "Good thing I will go. Arif says that when he met the doctor, he did not understand whether the doctor is Maulana or Maulana is a doctor? At last he spoke to Arif in English language and introduced the youth from England who came with him in the Jamaat.
As soon as they saw Arif everyone started shouting Rocky-Rocky and started taking autographs from them. Then there was no time of selfie and people used to take autographs for their memory. Apparently Arif liked it all. Everyone there requested them to eat today's dinner with us which Arif accepted. Meanwhile many religious things happened about which Arif says that all things went over his heads then. They just had to eat and get out of there.
Bahrahal Arif ate food and started leaving there after eating, then the doctor requested, "Stop here tonight on your soft bed, you sleep everyday, one night sleep on Allah's mat. "In the name of Allah, Arif could not convince and Allah should not be angry, they are ready for fear. Arif says that if the people of Tablighi Jamaat catch them once, they do not leave them without explaining their words to anyone.
Arif thought it was a matter of day. Arif began to slowly conveyance with the atmosphere there and his words. Arif tells that by then the fear of going to hell had started in his mind. That's why there was discussion that who will watch the Jamatis after awake at night? Arif asked "What will happen by doing this? I got the answer that this is a work of virtue, it opens the way to heaven and forgives your sins.
Arif said ok I will also wake up at night. Arif was asked to sleep for a while so that he could watch after awake all night. Arif explains that at night with one of his companions while they were guarding, suddenly the crying sounds were heard and they got terribly scared, then his partner said it was a custom. Well the night has passed and the coming morning has become a new morning in Arif's life. Arif's world has completely changed. Their fear had now turned into the comfort they perhaps been searching for years.
It is not that Arif easily left the film life and started living a peaceful life by becoming a religious person. They started running a small sherbet and juice center in Mumbai by distributing all the wealth they earned through films to the poor and needy and relatives. Although it was a tough job and sometimes Arif had to hear that "it fell from the sky and stuck in dates", Arif had decided he didn't want to return to the film world anymore. They didn't even face a financial shortage during this time and didn't give up and continued doing this for almost 3 years.
After this Arif also opened a cloth showroom in Pune and stayed there for 4-5 years. Later they opened a tea shop in Bangalore and this business came out. People started coming to drink their tea from a distance and got back all the money and respect they lost. Currently Arif invests part of his life in the propaganda of Islam and gives the rest to his family and business. Talk about their personal life they have 5 sons of which two are twins. Two sons are married and 2 of the other 3 are completing their studies in college and a Business Management course.
