Today I want to write my post in which I want to share with you some ideas about the color yellow. As I am associated with literature, I want to start my post first with an Urdu poem, but before that, let me tell you that the color yellow has been mentioned many times in Urdu literature.

Now the meaning of these words is according to each person's own mind, some interpret it in some way, some do it in some other way. Similarly, in Urdu literature, as far as I know, in the poetry of Mirza Ghalib, sometimes this word conveys a message of happiness, sometimes it conveys a message of separation.

Ghalib says:

"ہزاروں خواہشیں ایسی کہ ہر خواہش پہ دم نکلے،
بہت نکلے میرے ارمان لیکن پھر بھی کم نکلے"

Dear friends, you must have heard and seen the word yellow many times. Whenever the word yellow is heard, the color yellow immediately comes to mind because whenever we have heard or used the word yellow, we have heard and used it as a color.

Like any necessity of life, whether it is food or something to wear or something to use, then we specify by its color. For example, most of the fruits are yellow in color, bananas, melons, lemons, etc.

So whenever one hears the word yellow, the thing that is wanted in the mind at that time, the yellow things associated with it come to the mind. As recently as I was thinking about dresses, when I saw a contest of this Community and read the word yellow, a yellow dress immediately came to my mind.

As Muslims, we believe that whatever Allah has created, He has created it in the best condition, there is no deficiency in it. If all the trees are made green, there must be some wisdom in it.

However, each color has its own characteristics, but whenever we have seen yellow leaves on trees, we have seen them in the autumn season. So if all the trees turned yellow, it would be an autumn-like atmosphere, and I personally find that is popped up as a depressing atmosphere. Green color has a refreshing, cooling effect on the eyes.

Each color carries a precious feeling within it. Let me discuss with you something that will touch your hearts. To me, this yellow color is like this spring, whose soft sunshine warms our hearts. Yellow color for me is a beautiful symbol of life, which creates excitement and passion in a person.

These colors can be seen in the natural objects around us, in our personal experiences, but in each object you will find it in a different form, so its meaning also changes. I am telling it here with the imagination of my mind which is what my mind is telling me.

You must have a question in your mind why I mentioned spring with yellow......?

I think spring is the season when the soft rays of the sun are reaching us directly and instilling in us an enthusiasm and passion that takes us to more and more. For this reason, I have described it as a beautiful symbol of life above.

Yellow flowers bloom in spring, right. So believe me, they are giving the message of life and happiness.

Surely you must have seen the bright sunflowers blooming in the gardens as you pass through the fields, in full bloom, and it feels as if the sky has taken off a sheet of gold. So how best do they describe the beauty of nature, but also instill a ray of joy and hope in our hearts. It seems that yellow is the symbol of life.

No, Allah Almighty has blessed us with four seasons, now it is the perfection of the writer's pencil in what color, in what form, what sheet of words he is putting on it. So I have mentioned spring above, hopefully it has touched your hearts, so now let me give you a little touch of autumn.

Autumn season you know is called leaf fall season, in which the leaves of the trees turn yellow and they start falling from the trees. Actually, this change, the fall of the trees, I want to point out here that the change that is coming, which is visible to us in the form of yellow color, is actually from the law of nature. So we can describe it in a way that every change is the beginning of a new life.

My dear friends, if yellow is seen historically, the yellow flag wherever you see it will be the flag of historical revolution.

For me, the most beautiful period of human life is childhood. So if you reminisce about your childhood, you will remember that yellow dress you wore to an event. According to the specific customs of the Indian sub-continent, I still remember the henna ceremony and it is still going on, in which the yellow color is considered special and all the rituals start around this yellow color.

As a child, I used to play around the fields, so even today those gold-woven mustard fields are part of my mind. You will find the yellow color in many places as a symbol of cowardice and fear, but let me tell you that a writer has his own freedom, which way he should turn his pen is his own mind's imagination, how should he describe it.
