Hello Friends, how are you all? I am doing well 😊. Today I am here to participate in the Power up and win contest organised by @jyoti-thelight mam. It’s actually a good opportunity to increase your steem power. So let’s begin with my post.

Here is the step by step process which I followed to complete my power up:

Step 1:

I first opened my wallet by clicking on the top right corner. As you can see in the screenshot below👇

Currently I have 63.607 Steem which I am going to power up:

Step 2:

I entered the amount of steem that I wanted to power up. And clicked on power up button below.

Step 3:

After I clicked power up, the “Confirm Transfer to Vesting” screen popped up for the confirmation as you can see below 👇

I clicked on Ok to give the further confirmation

Step 4:

After confirming, I then logged in my wallet to complete the transfer 👇:

I then clicked on Sign in, and as you can see now in the below screenshot the power up was completed 👇:

After the power up, now my steem power is 151.847. With this I completed the entire process.

Importance of performing Power Up:

• By performing the power up process on steemit we gain more value for our votes. We can also have more impactful votes.
• It also increases our influence on the platform and gives us more power to hold on to.
• It also displays our intent to be on the platform for a long term which will be beneficial for the community as well as the platform. It will enable us to grow.
• It also gives us a chance to earn more curation rewards.

I hope this motivates others to power up as well and help each other to grow. This is my second time performing it and I intend to do so consistently. Thanks to @jyoti-thelight for continually encouraging us to do so.
