Epilepsy And The Use Of Screens

My greetings to everyone in this community. I hope my publication meets you well. Today, I've got to learn and also teach about Epilepsy and the use of screen brought about by @aaliarubab.
Epilepsy is a disease that occurs in the brian, in which a nerve cell does not signal correctly/properly, this results to seizures. Uncontrollable activities that alter behaviours, awareness of ones self, sensations, muscle movements are seizures. Sadly, this disease has no cure but has a lot of treatment options.
Epilepsy affects anyone, be it young or old, male or female, or any skin colour. Seizure triggers are actions that occur before your seizures like;
Stress
Hormonal changes
Sleep disorders
Alcohol usage
Specific foods
Flash lights, etc.
How can Epilepsy develop in some people with the use of screens?
Phones, tablets, computer screens and some whiteboards can trigger seizures if there are some types of pattern shown on the screen or there are flashing images on the screen, or flickering images. Modern TV screens may likely show images in a pattern or flashing way, and that may trigger an epilepsy.
There are cases where images shown on the screen may be too bright or have high contrast colours and these may cause a seizure. For flashing lights, from 3-30Hertz can cause a trigger for seizure. While for pattern, geometric patterns such as stripes or bars changing directions or flashing can trigger a seizure.
Factors That Increase Epilepsy Through The Use of Screens.
Playing a video game for long without break can cause tiredness, stress or excitement.
Being very close to a big screen or small screen.
Being in a darkened room to use a screen for a TV or game.
I would like to invite @may2015, @haidee and @dove11 to join this contest, thank you.
