Application Community Curator for May 2024

My fellow Steemians,

It gives me great pleasure to be writing this application for another month.

In this current month, I have come to the realization of what an honor it is to be able to read the posts of so many Steemians. Thank you!

My experience in real life

For me, experiences still play a vital role in shaping and forming us into the people we are today. We can never have too much experience.

🟤 I am a business analyst and studied political science and law.

🟤 I am also a business owner, a wife, mother, grandmother, and "home executive"

🟤 I’ve gained various business experiences, mainly in the hospitality, financial, and IT industries.

My history and responsibilities on Steemit

It feels like just the other day that I found those keys and “unlocked” my Steemit account for the second time.

Since my return, so much has happened. The one thing that stands out for me is the fact that I have discovered the true meaning of Steemit, changing the lives of many!

I have also learned a lot about what makes Steemit and Steemians click. By learning, I have come to value what is hiding behind the names and that we are all unique.

I strive day after day to only give my best to Steemit.

My biggest contribution to Steemit is supporting my fellow Steemians by helping them increase their overall Steemit performances, assisting other communities and curators, and paying forward what I have learned.

I have been following Club100, posting regularly, running weekly contests, and supporting my fellow Steemians, from top to bottom, in whatever way I can.

This I do by:

• Advising through my comments
• Giving advice and support on WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and via email
• Regularly following up on Steemians who received my help
• Training moderators through my moderator guidelines
• Helping and giving advice to communities and curators on a regular basis
• Striving to build a successful community, Steem For Ladies

I have held the following positions:

• I was a moderator in Steem For Better Life and Steem For Ladies
• I was a curator for numerous months with The7Up’s, Team Lucky Dip, Team 1, Team 2 and still for Team 4.
• I have been an advisor to two communities
• I was a representative for South Africa for a good number of months
• I have been an admin on Steem For Ladies for the last year
• I have been a Steem Representative for the last 56 weeks

I think that I have continued where I left off last month.

✔ Look beyond own community when casting votes especially when selecting Posts of the Week.

✔ Seek out posts across different languages and different communities.

✔ Reputation of at least 70

✔ At least 14,00 SP of your own

There has been no change to my objective as curator to look for posts from different communities, countries, languages, and from authors who merit recognition for their outstanding efforts. As for voting for positive remarks, it has always been a part of who I am.

As for the rest, I am also happy to report that there have been no changes to where I live, the Dolphin Coast, South Africa, or the language I speak, namely Afrikaans and English.

It will be an honor to be chosen for another month.
