The Diary Game #57: Share your day with us! [22/10/2024] First Time Of Experiencing No Sell In My Work Place

Good morning my beloved steemians across the globe, I trust your night went well, mine was peaceful. I will be sharing with you how my yesterday went, just be patient and read to the end.

HOW I SPEND MY YESTERDAY

Waking up that morning was a privilege from God which I am totally grateful for, after saying my morning prayer I went about my morning chores, when I was done, I took my bath then entered the kitchen to prepare my breakfast and also package what I will carry to work for my lunch.

I prepared spaghetti very little one to take for my lunch, I prepared tea to take for my breakfast but I noticed that the spaghetti I prepared was too much for my lunch, a little portion was remaining so I decided to use it to drink my tea instead of keeping it in the house.

After I was done eating, I carried my hand bag and left for work. When I got to work, some of my colleagues had already come and waiting outside for the key holder to come and open the shop door, after waiting for few minutes she came and we went inside the shop.

After arranging all the necessary things in the shop we settled down and wait for our customers to start coming. Normally our customers used to start coming from 2pm, that's the time some school will dismissed, that's because some of the parents will always want to bring their kids to the shop to buy things for them.

So we waited till 12noon and none of our customers came, it was time for us to take our lunch, so I went out to do so.

After I was done eating my lunch I went back inside the shop , while the rest of my colleagues also went to eat theirs too. It was around 3pm and no customer entered to patronize us, that was so unusual because since I started working there there's no day we don't make sales, but yesterday was a different day because what I never expected happened.

Around 4pm one of the banker from #Ecobank came with a new Point of Sale machine (P.O.S) to exchange with the old one they gave us, that old one was an analog P.O.S machine while the new one is an android version.

After fixing up the P.O.S Machine she left and we retired back to our position while still waiting hoping for at least one customer to come in and buy something before we will close by 6pm.

While waiting we were feeling sleepy, so we have to see a movie in one of my colleague's phone to drive away the sleep.

Before we knew it it was time for closing and we parked in the goods inside the shop and closed and went to our different home.

On my way back home, I stopped by the road side to buy fruit (Cucumber), I love fruit alot and cucumber is my best fruit.

When I got to the house, it was already dark, I went into the bathroom and freshened up, after then I made dinner to eat, it was garri and soup I had for dinner.

After I was done eating I was just fiddling my phone, that was when my neighbors kids came into my room to see a movie using my phone, while the were watching the movie, one of them complain of hunger, so I didn't want to start the process of defrozing the soup, so I gave them cucumber and fried groundnut to eat.

After we were done seeing the movie, some of them had slept along the line, I helped in carrying the baby to their room, when I came back into my room, i swept the room well because there were particles of sand on the floor.

After sweeping, I dressed my bed and mount on it and call it a night.
