Every school year, we had 5 PTA Meeting. One will happen after a month or two. And the other 4 meetings will happen every after the quarterly exam.

Today, I will be sharing you our first ever PTA meeting. Most of the parents came over and I am so glad that they had shown support to their kids. We started at 1:30 and ended around 2:30. We started with a prayer and I introduce myself to them as well as our school heads.

Then we talk about three things. I discuss to them the accomplished project, future project, Election of PTA Officers.

ACCOMPLISHED PROJECT LAST SCHOOL YEAR

In the agendum, I showed to them where does their money went last school year. The PTA fee was not compulsory but they were encouraged to give their share for the betterment of the school. The school was able to have a Wall of Fame wall, I love Mactan signage, School Name, concrete table and chairs, shed and aesthetic plant box. And that is because of the help of the parents who gave their support to the school.

FUTURE PROJECT

The school head is dreaming this school year and additional books for struggling readers, plant box, additional concrete table and chairs and human-sized Lapu-Lapu statue.

ELECTION OF PTA OFFICERS

The last part was the election of the PTA Officers. Then, I let my elected president and her vice to talk in front. Afterwards, I let my classroom president to share to their parents their requested items and these are as follows:

  • additional ceiling fan
  • water dispenser
  • mirror

After their request, the PTA President took over and plan as to what project they will buy and the deadline. After a long talk, all those requested projects were sponsored by the president and vice president. And they will just pay 20php for the water dispenser and refill.

I really had a great set of parents their school year, I can see that they are suppportive and very initiative. I am hoping that my students will payback the support their parents gavešŸ„°

Thanks for reading.

Inviting my friends @jes88 and @mercy11 to share here.

Sincerely,
