👨‍🏫This Week's Lesson

All of us must already know, what is meant by Bullying, an act that involves aggressive behavior, bullying behavior, or abuse of the power of a person or group against individuals or other groups that are considered weaker. This dangerous behavior eventually gave rise to the movement Anit-bullying, so that the adverse effects of these actions become a common enemy to prevent..

Anti-bullying is an attempt to prevent, reduce, or also eliminate bullying behavior that involves actions to harm others, intimidate others, or humiliate others physically, verbally, or emotionally. Against-bullying includes a variety of measures, policies, and programs designed to create a safe, inclusive, and threat-free environment for everyone, whether in school, work, or other social settings.

A. Anti-bullying Goals

  1. Prevent protection through education, knowledge, and awareness of the adverse effects caused by bullying.
  2. Protecting victims by providing support and solutions for those who experience bullying.
  3. Raising awareness in the hope of helping people understand the forms of bullying and how to overcome them.
  4. Encourage positive behavior to form a culture of mutual respect and empathy.

B. Examples Of Anti-Bullying Measures

  1. Education : educates children, adolescents, and society about bullying, its effects, and how to prevent it.
  2. Campaign : hold an anti-bullying campaign, such as International Anti-Bullying Day.
  3. Policies: implement anti-bullying rules or policies in schools, offices, or communities.
  4. Reporting : create a secure and confidential reporting system for victims or witnesses of bullying.
  5. Counseling : counseling services to victims, perpetrators, and related parties.

Two of the five Anti-Bullying measures are by way of Education and campaigning, a simple example is creating Posters or Infographics. This method will reach many people, especially when uploaded on social media with certain hashtags, such as #StopBullying #BeFriends and #SayNoToBullying.

This Week's Learning Goals

  1. Provide knowledge to teachers and educators in an effort to socialize anti-bullying.
  2. Provide ways and information on how creative anti-bullying campaigns can be a means of socialization.
  3. Making the Steemit Platform one of the social media that supports and campaigns against bullying, as a form of Humanitarian Campaign.
