I hope everyone is well by God's grace. Alhamdulillah I am fine too. Today I am going to participate in the "Street Culinary" contest organized by @irawandedy sir. So let's get started. |

The Street Culinary that I am going to discuss today is Chitai Pitha. In winter, the number of pithapuli shops in Bangladesh increases a lot. Because pitha is very popular in winter in Bangladesh. Chitai Pitha and Vapa Pitha are most popular during winters and such stalls are most common in various markets and streets. This chitai pitha is basically made by mixing rice flour and water in a hot tawa. But many add different ingredients like coconut, molasses, egg etc. to increase its taste.
Yesterday afternoon I went to Lalbagh in our town of Rangpur to buy rice. I went to this pitha shop as my friend Atiq was getting late. Here a grown man makes pitas and sells them. Uncle's behavior is very good. This uncle brought a dekchi mixture of flour and water in a dekchi and made pita in a hot pan on the stove. He brought three more kinds of bhartas for people to eat pitha. One is mustard batter, another is coriander leaf filling and another is shutki bharta. He gives these bhartas along with pitha absolutely free.
This shopkeeper's uncle's behavior was very good. I said that uncle can you take pictures? He immediately said yes dad picked up. And he always keeps the tools for making pitha but after making pitha he keeps those pitha open. Even though the pithas are not stored there for long, before they are sold, he should cover the pithas if it is healthy. When I told him about this, he said that pitha is stored and sold immediately. Such good food at such a low price is really good. No one can eat rice after eating 2 of these cakes. I just ate one.
Uncle's shop is very crowded after evening. I ate in the afternoon which was not so crowded. I had a cheetah pitha only with mustard batter. Because I like to eat it with mustard batter. The size of pitha was also very big and the price was very low. Below is the pitha price shown in Bangladeshi Taka, steem and Trx.
