What a sigh of relief students get when they know they will be convocating. Looking back at all the stress they passed through in primary to secondary school and then continued at the university level, it is worth celebrating after such a long journey. The next thing to worry about is jobs in the country, but keeping that aside we should celebrate all the hard work.
The school has never been an easy place, you will have to work for your grades. Your hard work, seriousness, and determination will give you the grades you need. Having sleepless nights studying a course, trying to grab it all in one night for exams the next day. It has effects on students physically and mentally; that's why students look so healthy and fresh once they go for a break, but once they get back to school, you'll know the difference.
Convocation ceremony in university of uyo |
---|
This week has been a busy week in school, and it's not a shock to people in the environs that students are convocating; this is a mixture of other students from other schools in the state merging to convocate. Due to these large numbers of people, the convocation is scheduled to take place for three days, which will end on Saturday.
Due to this, we are having lecture-free days due to how busy the school will be and it won't be conducive for learning because of the high music and mainly the ceremony proper.
The school was very busy as usual as security personnel helped control the traffic; reaching the venue for the convocation, I met people I knew, both the celebrants and the coursemates. The joy filled their faces to finally know that they were done with school stress and frustration. I was just on the other end just being happy for them and at the same time wishing to graduate from school to avoid all the stress and frustration.
Everywhere was filled with people as they were just moving up to and fro. I could say, the photographers got something huge out of it. Everyone had a couple of photos. One of the best parts was the food, some people brought a buffet and the food was mouth-watering, you couldn't help but join them in the celebration.
It is a very ceremonious moment for them; with hard work and determination, we will get there.
I would love to invite my friends @fredquantum, @onlyonefave, and @davidmarkgeorge to join
