I found this insect around shrubland. It is called Small Black Wasp which probrably refer to the color of its body color. I guess, I came in late afternoon that made this insect was a bit calm, not making a lot of move that eased me to take a couple of shots of this good looking insect. I spent an inordinate amount of time observing this fascinating little creature. Sometimes this pays off with a decent photograph or with observing an interesting aspect of behaviour. This wasp was returning with resin balls to seal its nest and moulding them into position with its mandibles. Like other wasps, the paper wasp is semi-social, existing in small colonies but without a true worker caste. The small black wasp used to see hangout around the leaves. Apart from a few infamous species, most wasps are invisible and unknown to the casual observer. They’re either too small, too fast-moving, or too rare to catch attention. After being sometime involving in hide and seek, I was finally able to take some pictures with my smartphone.
