When I was a kid, we used to have many pets. My father had a Filipino dogs and cats. One day, our favorite dog named Edot (from my Father's nickname) died because he was hit by a car. We all felt so sad that time. And from that time, we dont wanted to had a pet anymore because of the sad feelings we felt when our favorite dog died. He became our favorite because he is like a real person because he always go with us, protecting us wherever we go. And if we will say go home, he will then go home.

When I got married, my hubby asked that he wanted to have a pet dog. I was in doubt because I dont want to feel that feeling again. But then one day, when he went home he brought a cute puppy and I cant control the feeling because of its cuteness. I then hug him. He got it from his friend and its breed is shitzu and poodle. But then after 3 months, he got sick and was hit by parvo, a famous illness of dog. After few weeks of bringing his sickness, he died. The feeling I felt comes back but at least we learned something from our experience that we must not let that kind of dog go out and eat anything only dog food.

After a year, we had another dog and we named him POPOL. And we see to it that in his puppy stage, we will not go out, if he will go out we will just carry him. And we also make sure that all his vaccines and deworming will be on time.

Last week, its his deworming schedule. This is to make sure that all the worms in his tummy will slowly comes out from his poop. We just went to his vet in DoggyVerse just one ride away in our area. The deworming cost Php250.

But before they gave the deworming, they first check Popol and ask us some questions about his situation. And since everything went well, he was allowed to had deworming.

Aside from they will be checking the dogs, they also had products from dogs and cats. We sometime buy dogfood, vitamins and some other things for Popol here.

We just took 30minutes there then we went home.

So, if you wanted to become a furparents you should learn how to take good care of your pets.
