Assalamu Alaikum friends,
Today I am going to write about another endangered animal of my country titled Protected Animals in My Country Contest Organized by Steam of Animals Community. I have heard many stories about this animal from my parents. Today I am going to write about Hanuman which is a rare creature not often seen in our country. Hanuman is an animal of the monkey tribe. I thank @steem.ofanimals for making me interested in the endangered animals of my country. I invite you @waterjoe @bonaventure24 @jyoti-thelight @meheruntinni to participate in this contest.

Hanuman (Entellus) is an animal of the monkey tribe. Although the number of monkeys in Bangladesh has also decreased, the number of Hanuman has become negligible. Hanuman is an indigenous species of South Asia. These animals are found in abundance in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka, which border Bangladesh. This animal has spread in this country from the countries bordering Bangladesh. Hanuman can be seen only in the forests reserved for the present animals in Bangladesh. According to the survey of these protected forests, the number of 3 species of Hanuman in Bangladesh is slightly more than 100.

Bangladesh is a densely populated country and does not have much forest for wildlife. The people of Bangladesh are destroying the forest area, this is the first and main reason for the endangerment of animals in Bangladesh. Lack of food Deforestation is creating food shortage for animals. Hanuman comes to the locality to collect food and is captured by the hunters and thus sold and smuggled by the hunters.

Hanuman is a protected animal species as per Bangladesh Wildlife Act 2012. Hanuman hunting, killing, buying and selling and trafficking are punishable offences. This offense is punishable by fine and imprisonment or both. It is very important for us to be aware to sustain the animal diversity and increase the number of these animals. For example, it is our moral duty not to harm the habitats of animals and not to scare animals and to arrange for the quick rehabilitation of such animals if we see them anywhere.

Let the animal world survive by protecting the environment, if the animal world survives, the human being will survive.
