One of the characteristics of the people of ignorance was that when they set their minds to accomplish a task, considering it a means of renewed pride and honor, no obstacle could stop them. They would risk their lives to complete it.
🍂5. Patience, forbearance, and seriousness...
This was also a commendable quality in the eyes of ignorance, but it was rare due to their excessive bravery and the habit of being always ready for war.
🍂6. Bedouin simplicity...
That is, unfamiliarity with and distance from the trappings and tricks of civilization. The result of this was that truthfulness and trustworthiness were found in them. They were far from deceit and betrayal of promises and hated them.
We believe that, in addition to the geographical proximity of the Arabian Peninsula to the rest of the world, these were the valuable morals due to which the Arabs were chosen to lead mankind and bear the burden of the general mission. Because although these morals sometimes became the cause of corruption and tragic accidents occurred because of them. But they were very valuable morals in themselves. They could have become useful after a little reformation and this is what Islam did.
Probably, among these morals, self-respect and firm determination after fulfilling the promise were the most valuable and beneficial essence. Because without this strength of will and resolute determination, the end of evil and corruption and the establishment of a system of justice are not possible.
The people of ignorance had some other noble morals, but it is not intended to cover all of them here. ..
