Friends after the T20 series with kiwis , yesterday started the ODI series. T20 series was ended by tie. Unfortunately Srilanka was unable reached a easy target in the second match. But this is the nature of a game.We cant win everyday. So as a fan or player we must get to used it.However present Srilanka team is in a good position now and they are playing a really good cricket.Pathum Nissanka , Kamindu Mendis make to see a really good future in Srilanka cricket.Ok lets get a brief idea about yesterday match.So Srilanka captain charith asalanka won the toss and he decided to bat first.Unfortunately pathum nissanka was unable to come to runs but after a long time Avishka fernando came to his form and got a century as well.Its happy to see cause Srilanka team was given a plenty of chances to him for this.

Kusal mendis after 2022 able to get a century as well and he scored over 140 runs. In that score included 19 of boundaries. Unfortunately in 49.2 over , rain was affected to the match. So match started again after about two hours. Then it had decided to limit 27 overs of kiwis inning. According to DLS they had to reach 221 runs within 27 overs.In first few overs get a better start by kiwis opening pair, but Maheesh theekshana broke their partnership and then falled down one by one kiwis wickets quickly.So finally they got only 175 runs within 27 overs. Maheesh and Dilshan Madushanka got three wickets as well. Mendis became the man of the match after a long time cause his brilliant performance.
