I ran out of ideas today. I opened Steemit and read that @ashkhan had created an interesting contest. I am interested in following it. Before that, I will introduce myself first. I am @muammar607 from Indonesia, and I invite my friends to participate in @waterjoe, @razali123, and @fadlymatch.

SFS Daily Picture Week 15 : Helping a friend who ran out of Biosolar on the side of the road in hot weather

There's never a bad day on the calendar. In the middle of very hot weather, with temperatures reaching almost 32 Celsius, my friend's vehicle ran out of BioSolar. He is a rice trader who delivers rice to his customers.

A few days ago, our city had a shortage of BioSolar. My friend contacted me to help him. Unfortunately, I was not near him. 20 minutes later I came to help him.

On the way I entered several refueling stations, but none of them would accept the excuse of breaking down and giving BioSolar bought in Jeregen. All of them suggested buying Dexlite because it is not subsidized but at a high price.

Indeed, the rules from our government do not allow selling subsidized BioSolar other than to cars with barcodes that have been verified by Pertamina through the Mypertamina Application. I don't know if it's the same in other countries.

The situation of my two friends was desperate. With a heavy car there are about 100 sacks of rice lagging in the car bed that have not been delivered to their customers.

Finally, on the advice of the people there, we walked forward about 5 kilometers to look for biodiesel at retail merchants, coincidentally there were still retail merchants selling biodiesel even though there were only 9 Liters left.

The retailer is around the place where the soil is taken. Usually, trucks load soil here before selling it to customers. Either to stockpile his yard or for buildings bought by contractors.

The oil trader kindly lent us a jeregen to fill with biodiesel as well as a tool to easily put biodiesel into the car tank.

We then went home. As soon as we arrived we put the biodiesel into the tank slowly beside the road and in the middle of a very hot sun.

Biodiesel cannot be put into the tank at once. Because of the shape of the tank that juts in. It took up to 15 minutes before all the diesel in the jerry cans entered the car tank.

Was the problem solved after the biosoloar, apparently not. The car would not start. Finally, we decided to pump the diesel pump under the front seat.

Finally, we pumped it while continuing to start. Thankfully the car started by keeping the RPM high. For all friends, it is important to fill up biodiesel before going on a long trip. Careful preparation will make us comfortable and safe while traveling.
