Hello dear friends...
Warmest greetings from my own part of the world (Nigeria) I'm so delighted to participate on this wonderful contest organized by @sahmie in Steem Fashion&Style community.
Do you think everyone has the same chance to do well on standardized test? Why or why not? |
---|
Not everyone has the chance to perform very well in standardized test. Standardized test is a form of test that is done to screen-check students or workers capabilities in the school or areas of work, in other to check what they can handle or whatever they are good at. So anyone who doesn't prepared for standardized test won't perform very well.
How do you think a student background or environment affects their test scores? |
---|
Yes of course, students who are from a rich family backgrounds, educated parents and that student is being catered for and is taken into a conducive environment would surely perform very well in test scores , in this regards, a student from a poor family backgrounds, illiterate parents e.t.c will perform poorly in test scores.
Therefore, background and environment affects students scores.
Are there other ways to measure intelligence besides standardized test? What are they? |
---|
There are other ways to measure a child's intelligence besides standardized test, which I will mention just few: Emotional IQ test and social IQ test, weschler intelligence scale for children (WISC), verbal comprehension, visual spatial, fluid reasoning, working memory and processing speed.
Do you believe that test anxiety can impact a student performance? How so? |
---|
Yes, and my reasons is that, test anxiety interferes with our working memory capacity which leads to poorer performances in any give exams.
Can intelligence be defined in different ways and how does that relate to standardized testing? |
---|
Intelligence can be termed in many different ways but to me, is technically related to standardized testing because it deals with the testing of one's intelligence or memory.
Thank you all for reading through my blog, and for your wonderful support, I love you all friends.
