Do you feel closer to your friends and familys because of social media or do yu think it keeps yu apart?

To be honest social media has pulled me closer to my friends and family than I have ever been before and that is why it helps to connect people even if they don’t live close to each other and to tell about significant events, and to be there for someone when they need it so no matter how far it is regardless of being locked in the house, through messages, video calls, and even sharing our memories on the timeline of social media it has strengthened the bond between us.

To have the ability to check on my family’s activities, to chat with them without having to open the application, and to attend virtual meetings it has really revolutionized our form of social interaction and many of us know that it has built our relationships strongly so by its strengths and weaknesses.

How often do you use your phone or computer to talk to people compared to meeting them in person?

Today I actively communicate using my phone with friends and family members even if they live in a different country and all it takes is a few taps, though meeting in person is unique something, my phone has instead become highly relevant in the continuity of the relationships and it's beautiful invention that enables one to communicate, share experiences or moments and even foster one another despite the geographical location so my phone has really made me close to the people I love most.

Can technology help us make new friends, or does it mainly connect us with people we already know?

Of course technology can assist us in keeping new friends through such platforms and widening our network of friends through out the world, people can arrange meetings in social networks or dating applications, in online communities, on social networking sites that help to find people like-minded or living nearby so there is a rather weak tendency for technology to interconnect everyone which is as a result of algorithms that work towards centralizing the existing connections.

Have yu ever felt loneli while using social media? Why do you think that happens?

There are times I forget that I am alone whenever I am in a fix of using the social media, In fact, it is quite the reverse for me I go online, socialize and interact with people, there is no chance of feeling lonely at all and If I do not get to chat with friends I am most likely busy scrolling through videos or posts that interest me and the only time that I can feel lonely is when my phone is switched off or where I do not have an internet connection, so what is important I have to charged my phone and internet so, there is an option not to notice loneliness and sometimes I feel I can sit idly in front of the computer for a couple of hours or more engaged in social media because they help me stay informed all the time.

How technology changed the way we communicate with each other?

By the use of technology especially through the provision of facebook, whats app and video calls, it has ensured that communication is quick, easy and open for everyone at a convenient time, social media has also increased the choice of communication techniques via text, emojis, gifs, videos and pictures.

However, this communication technology has been associated with problems which includes informational theoretic overload, confined physical communication, and privacy infringement and as a whole, people can now communicate in much simple and various way thanks to technology that is also more linked with the others.

Thanks for reading my post I'm inviting @bela90, @aviral123 and @josepha to participate.
