Witness Overview ( Choosing a Witness )”

Witness Overview is a feature that is integrated into the Steemworld tool so users can easily vote for their witnesses. The witness Overview shows the list of all active and inactive witnesses that we can cast our vote for and the place for voting a witness is right opposite the names of witnesses which is indicated in a box.

It is very easy to choose a witness from the witness Overview Choose a witness click on the sign in located at the top right-hand side and enter my username and posting key and my private key for the voting.

After I have signed in I then scroll down and start voting for my preferred witnesses in the box [] provided by clicking on it. As I keep voting the system keeps counting the number of witnesses that is left for me to complete the maximum number of 30 witnesses that I can vote.

Does Witness affect the development of Steemit in the future? Explain in your language.

Steemit witnesses are users (programmers, node maintenance) who are voted by users like me and every other user to mine blocks, maintain price feeds, etc on the Steem blockchain which they are rewarded with cryptocurrency

Yes, witness affects the development of Steemit in the future. This is because witnesses are the decision-makers of the Steemit platform. Witnesses are like governors who oversee the affairs of the Steemit platform and whatever decision they voted for can positively or negatively affect the development of Steemit in the future.

A non-witness can decide on the development of Steemit in the future which is the sole responsibility of the work witnesses. They are special users that influence the Steemit platform.

What is the reason you choose witness?

As I joined the Steemit platform I did a lot of research about the importance of witnesses I then said to myself that one day I would vote for witnesses and my reasons for choosing the witnesses I have chosen because of their contribution and good works for the Steemit platform.

I choose them because they are doing the work very well and their vision and mission for the future development of the Steemit platform is very clear which is why I choose them.
