Assalamu Alaikum.
Today was our harvest date while bringing home the current Aman paddy. Today will be a very busy day for me as the workers have to do threshing and other household chores. Let's start today's diary. I wake up in the morning and take a walk on the road. In the morning, we met many people in the village. Everyone goes out after finishing the housework. Talks a lot with many people. I came home and had breakfast.
The workers are coming to the field to harvest our paddy, they don't know the location of all the fields so I have to go and show them the fields. I came to the paddy field with the bike. Paddy field is about 1.5 km from our house. I went to the paddy field and saw that today the number of workers is 22 and they have started harvesting paddy.
I am talking to them to cut the rice plants earlier because we will plant potatoes in this land. If the land is cut at the base of the paddy for better cultivation, it will be better cultivated. Out of the 22 workers not all are working equally many are cutting higher so I talked them into cutting more at the beginning.
My mother called me from home and told me that there is no bhushi for cow feed and I have to go to get rice paddy from the rice mill. I came home by bike and went to rice mill but unfortunately I didn't get any bhushi in rice mill so today I have to collect other items for cow feed. Today on Friday, I have to pray the holy Jummah. I came home, took a bath and went to Jummah after being purified. I went to the mosque and prayed on Friday. I met all the people of the village. It is very pleasant for me. After the prayer, everyone talked for a long time. I returned home and had lunch after which I rested for some time.
I had to go to the paddy field again in the afternoon to show the paddy field. I went and saw that they had finished harvesting rice today. I met the workers waiting for me, they were all picking grass for their cows. They are all going home and I bid them farewell. I was observing the paddy fields.
I came home in the afternoon and saw my younger brother harvesting paddy from the paddy field next to the house. This raw paddy straw is for cows. He separated the paddy from the paddy plant and gave the raw flour to the cows.
When I came home fresh in the evening, my younger brother called me that there will be a cow calf in the cowshed. After waiting for a while the calf's head and legs came out, I pulled the calf out. If the calf is placed in front of the cow, it licks the dirt off the calf's body and cleans it. It is good news for us that the new baby has arrived in the cowshed. Within 20 minutes the calf is standing up and drinking milk from the cow. A cow has a lot of milk in its olan so some of the milk has to be milked and thrown away. Had to stay with this cow till night today.
Good luck to you.
I wish you well
