Steem for a Betterlife - The Diary Game Wednesday 27 March

Today was not my best day. I woke up at seven and it was already 31 Degrees Celsiuis (88 Fagrenheit). In any case I just got up and started my daily walk to the waterfront, and you know, today I didn't even make it there. I stopped at a little park that is a couple hundred meters from the sea, a park that is exactly in front of the pool hall I visit. So eventually I entered the pool hall and a guy challenged me to a game. I did play five tables with him, won all five. But by then I was not feeling that good, I was sweating excessively and I felt sleepy. So I decided to go back home.

When I got there my son asked me if I could go on an errand for him as he had other things to do. Mind you, this was close to noon. So I walked what must be about three kilometers back and forth. I made the errand told him the results by phone. I am home by now, when he calls me and asked to go back to the same place as he was there now. Well I walked back, but when I was a few hundred meters from that particular store I started feeling funny. I did make it to the store, did what I had to do, and took a taxi back home.

I was not feeling good at all, so I had my pressure taken, and sure enough it was kind of high. As things happen, I must have hit somewhere with my forehead and I got a very slight cut. Insignificant but it bled a lot as I was breathing heavily. Some people who saw it, for some reason thought my nose was bleeding and told me to stay calm while they called someone. I told them I was OK, and looking in a mirror saw it was my forehead. I was kind of relieved as for a moment I thought something serious could be happening. But right there I decided to go lay down.

Well I slept for half an hour, when I woke up I was feeling much better but kind of worn out. I got up did a few chores, and have been sleepy ever since. I expect to have a good night's sleep and wake up OK. I think what is getting me is the heat, it is scorching hot here. Luckily, and according to the weather forecast we will have rain tomorrow and Friday. So hopefully things might cool down a bit.
