An innovative technology.

Whether in noisy surroundings where it is difficult to distinguish what a specific person is saying or even for people with hearing disabilities, an Innovation emerges that promises to completely change the communication experience, With discreet design, AirCaps lenses provide real-time captions for the wearer, making conversations in crowded places much more accessible.

Developed by a team of engineers and designers from renowned universities including Cornel University, the Air caps are the result of the work of Nirbhay Narang a computer science student who is now bringing this technology to the market.

Visually they resemble thick-framed glasses but their simple design hides advanced technology, the lenses connect via Bluetooth to the user's iPhone application and an Android version is already in development.

How the lenses work.

The magic happens like this, while the phone's microphone picks up the voice of a nearby person selected by the user, an AI system converts the voice into text instantly, this text is transmitted to the lenses of the AirCaps where the user can read the subtitles in real time.

It's almost like having a personal screen that projects the words at the exact moment they are said, plus the text is also displayed on the phone screen as a backup.

The technology is impressive, the AirCaps are already capable of recognizing multiple languages such as English, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, German and Portuguese and for situations where the vocabulary is more technical or includes jargon the user can add new words manually by adjusting the experience according to your needs.

Prescription lenses can be added for an additional cost of $50 and the product is expected to ship to customers between 6 and 8 weeks after purchase, with a full battery charge the device offers around 5 hours of continuous use.
