How to Ease your Baby Teething Pain with a Natural Turmeric, Clove and Ginger Formula

Each stage of their growth is important and tender teething is sometimes even a painful process for kids. Obviously, during this period they may also suffer from the inflammation and redness of gums, soreness. There are natural treatments using turmeric, clove and ginger to help reduce these problems.   • Take a cup of water.
  • Put it on the stove.
  • Add 2 cloves to boiling water.
  • Wash, peel and cut the fresh ginger into thin pieces. Put it in boiling water.
  • Add half a teaspoon of Turmeric Power to the water.
  • Boil until half a cup of water is left.
  • Remove it from the stove and strain after cooling.
  • Our teeth pain remedy Solution for children is ready.

How to Use

  • Clean your hands thoroughly.
  • Clean the gums. Any clean and soft cloth can be used to clean the gums.
  • Take clean cotton.
  • Dip it in the solution and apply it on the teeth or gums.
  • This procedure can be done in case of tooth pain or when needed in order to minimize discomfort.

Precautions

  1. Patch Test: Before using it, it is advisable to use it in baby’s wrist for about 24 hours to check if the child has a reaction to it.
  2. Use Fresh Solution: It is very important to always make fresh solution, and never to use solution that has been prepared before in the process of molding.
  3. Monitor the Child: Make sure that you do not allow the child to ingestiates a lot of the paste.

In the natural world there are so many treatments for ailment; herbs are not only efficient but also suitable for child if handled in the correct manner. Of these, basil (tulsi), dhania (coriander), and podeena (mint) deserve special mention not only because of their extensive curative properties. It is now about time that we introduce these herbs and how beneficial they are to the health of children.


1. Basil (Tulsi)

Tulsi also known as basil is an herb that enjoys a sacred status in South Asia chiefly because of its curing powers. It has been traditionally used as a medicine for calming and to treat skin injuries.

  1. Boosts Immunity:
    Basil has a function of enhancing the immunity in children; thisitem helps to prevent diseases such as cold, flu and infections. It is active against any bacteria or viruses and hence helps control their growth and spread successfully.

    Basil clears the tummy and helps one avoid bloated feelings which in such a case would help the children who always have tummy aches.

  3. Calms Respiratory Issues:
    The basil is effective in treating many sicknesses although it is particularly recommended for treating coughs, asthma and bronchitis. Consuming a drop of tulsi with warm water or drinking tea of the herb will also assist in cases of throat inflammation.

  4. Stress Relief:

3. Podeena (Mint)

  1. Soothes Upset Stomachs:
    Mint is very popular to be used for vomiting, gastro intestinal upset and stomach ache. An ordinary mint tea can instantly help soothe a child who has stomach pains.

  2. Relieves Cough and Cold:
    Thanks to the presence of the menthol in mint, children are able to breath well from their nasal orifices when they have a common flu. Also, it relieves the throat inflammation and controls coughing.

  3. Improves Oral Health:
    Some of the specific functions include: Mint’s antibacterial action make the mouth fresh and clean. The use of fresh mint leaves and mint compounds as a mouth wash can go along way to improving the children’s oral hygiene.

  4. Boosts Energy:
    When harsh weather strikes, the refreshing qualities of mint will make a child happy and help him/her get energetic.


How to Use These Herbs for Children

  1. Basil/ Tulsi Leaves: Sprinkle the fresh basil leaves to soups, teas or blend into juice. You can also apply basil oil in aromatherapy to help soothe the nerves.

  2. Coriander: Incorporation of coriander in chutneys, soups, or plain added as a garnishing on meals. For children with loose motions, fresh coriander juice when mixed with a little sugar can be given as a cooling beverage.

  3. Mint: On its own, mint is a refreshing drink that can be included in lemonade, consumed in teas or blended for use in dips and sauces such as raita.


Precautions:

The use of fresh herbs is recommended: it is crucial to wash herbs as the contain dirt, and may have been sprayed with pesticides.
If possible begin using the herbs in small portion to avoid allergic reactions on the patient’s body.
It is advised to speak to the pediatrician before giving those herbs to children under two years old or if the child has some symptoms.


Some of the natural spices and herbs which have been known to complement or even add flavor to foods include the following; basil, dhania and podeena all these have been known to play a great role in the bodily health of children. Some of the herbs discussed above help strengthen immunity, improve the digestive system, reduce respiratory problems, and even dental ailments all of which affect children. Having these herbs incorporated in your child diet mean he/she will be taking the best from nature as healing power.

Natural Cure for Enuresis for Children

Nocturnal enuresis, or bedwetting, is a quite frequent issue in children that actually creates added stress for a child and his or her parents. There are some natural cure methods used by people in Pakistan such as use of lehsan (garlic), karela (bitter gourd) and aamla (Indian goose berry) can be useful in making the bladder more muscular and thusable to withstand a good pressure and reduce the number of bed wetting episodes. Here is a full recipe, how to prepare it and other notes on this problem below.


Ingredients

  1. Lehsan (Garlic) – 3 pieces
  2. Karela (Bitter Gourd) – 1 medium sized
  3. Aamla (Indian Gooseberry) – 5 to 6 pieces
  4. Honey – 1 optional (this would improve the taste) Note: It can not be use under age of 1 year's child.
  5. Water – 1 cup

Preparation Process:

  • Take a cup of water in any pan and place it on the stove.
  • Now add medium or small size finely chopped bitter gourd.
  • Now take three cloves of garlic and finely chop them and put them in boiling water.
  • Take five to six amla and put it in water.
  • Let the water boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • When you feel that all the ingredients have been incorporated into the water, take it off the stove.
  • Our remedy is ready to feed the children.

Dosage ad Administration

  • Give this remedy to your child twice a day: before breakfast and again in the evening before sleeping.
