A New Orca is Born (Join me to Celebrate Orca Status)

Steem greetings @everyone, today has been one of my joyous days as I powered up 141 steem to become an orca.
It has been an amazing 4+ years on the Steemit platform and today I reflected on my early days on Steemit. Joining Steemit, I had little or no knowledge about cryptocurrency or blockchain tech. However, I am someone who confronts challenges, learns new concepts and is also an inquisitive person.
My first 3 months on the platform were not easy as I did a lot of research about Steemit and blockchain technology. I had to do a lot of research because I was once scammed by investing in a cryptocurrency platform.
After my research, I realised Steemit was genuine and has come to stay. I took it serious and started creating content. Then steem-cameroon admins introduced our local njangi which is a common initiative where members of the community send a particular amount of SBDs to the community account according to the number of shares you subscribed to. Half of it was given to a beneficiary every week and half was powered up to the community account. I had 5 shares meaning every week I had to send 5 SBDs to the community account. This initiative made me become more committed to be able to raise 5 SBDs to send to the community account. Unfortunately, SBDs stopped printing and it become difficult to continue with the njangi initiative.
When club status was introduced by the Steemit team, my target was to become a club100 member so that I will be able to power up and support my newcomers. I engaged in the club status and used club100 for over a year. This was helpful in growing my account.
After knowing more about the platform, I had to set goals. The first goal I ever set on the platform was to become a dolphin. It was not an easy ride as it took me over 2 years on the platform to achieve my first dolphin. The joy 😁 on that day was something I cannot describe now. I was overwhelmed and more determined to catch more of the dolphins.
I become more consistent in creating quality content, and engaging with other reputable steemians coupled with the amazing support from the Steemit team. I was more determined to get more dolphins over the past 2 years. Today, I can now say your support has made me today become an Orca. Without your support, I do not think I would have been celebrating Orca's status today.
To my fellow newcomers, there is no new technique to acquire this on the platform. We will still continue singing the old song “…be consistent in creating content, create quality content free from plagiarism and not used AI to generate content, engage with meaning comments on other content on the platform because we grow by uplifting others, power up your liquid steem and support others with upvotes, etc”.
My Power up of 141 steem.
After Power up.
I think I'm ending the year in grand style as an orca. I will continue to be consistent and support other creative authors on the platform. Before I go, I will say as you celebrate with me, you will be the next to be celebrated.
