Today we try to do an exercise on the marginal revenue of a company
My goal is to include all the necessary information in this article to still be able to carry out the exercise even without knowing the topic in depth.

Useful information for developing the exercise
What is marginal revenue?
Marginal revenue (usually represented by the acronym RM or R') measures the change in total revenue that occurs when a company increases production by one unit, that is, it is revenue generated by the sale of an additional unit.
In other words, marginal revenue tells us how much more revenue we will have by increasing the quantity produced by +1.
This immediately gives us an indication of what would happen if we were to produce a greater quantity of the good or service we are offering

Useful notes for carrying out the exercise
Marginal revenue is sometimes also found under the acronym RM, but it is often confused with Average Revenue, so we tend to symbolize marginal revenue with the acronym R'.
Below is the marginal revenue formula:

Given the following table, calculate the Marginal Revenue (black box) of quantity 4 (yellow box)

Exercise - Procedure
Let's refer to the formula described above and apply it to the quantity 4, so n=5. Below is the transformation

By carrying out the subtraction it will become

so we will have:

Exercise - Result
We will have that the marginal revenue of quantity 4 will be 350.

Conclusions
If from quantity 4 we were to increase the quantity by 1, i.e. we went to 5 units produced, we would have that the revenue would increase by 350

Oggi proviamo a fare un esercizio sul ricavo marginale di un’impresa
Il mio obiettivo è di inserire tutte le nozioni sufficienti in questo articolo per poter comunque svolgere l’esercizio anche senza conoscere a fondo l’argomento trattato.

Nozioni utili allo sviluppo dell’esercizio
Cosa è il ricavo marginale?
Il ricavo marginale (solitamente rappresentato dalla sigla RM o R') misura il cambiamento nel ricavo totale che avviene quando un'azienda aumenta la produzione di un'unità, cioè, è ricavo generato dalla vendita di un'unità aggiuntiva.
In altre parole il ricavo marginale ci indica quanto ricavo avremo in più aumentando la quantità prodotta di +1.
Questo ci da subito l'indicazione di cosa succederebbe se andassimo a produrre una quantità maggiore del bene o del servizio che stiamo offendo

Note utili per svolgere l’esercizio
Il ricavo marginale a volte si trova anche sotto la sigla RM, ma viene spesso confusa con il Ricavo Medio, quindi si tende a simboleggiare il ricavo marginale con la sigla R'.
Qui di seguito la formula del ricavo marginale:

Facciamo riferimento alla formula descritta sopra e applichiamola alla quantità 4, quindi n=5. Qui di seguito la trasformazione

Attuando la sottrazione diventerà

quindi avremo:

Avremo che il ricavo marginale della quantità 4 sarà 350.

Conclusioni
Se dalla quantità 4 andassimo ad aumentare di 1 la quantità, cioè passassimo a 5 unità prodotte, avremo che il ricavo aumenterà di 350
