With the extra long days of Summer in the Pacific Northwest, it’s easy to fall into the trap of working too late into the evening…….🙄
It’s common to see construction crews taking advantage of “No Rain” Summers and I regularly see them working long into the evenings, and the weekends……….
Silvertop always tries to balance work and play, but lately “road trips” to Home Depot are becoming a weekly occurrence!😮
I’m thankful my best friend Liz, enjoys coming along on these weekend trips to the lumberyard!🥰
Of course Home Depot having a garden center that is overflowing with beautiful plants makes the decision much more enticing!☺️
Late into the afternoon, Silvertop’s chores were finished for the day………….
A break….a hiking up to the ridge top…. was next on today’s list of things to accomplish!🤗
Steep trails lead to this cabin, the “High Trail” is covered with a thin layer of slippery dust!
No worries here my friends, Silvertop has hiked these familiar trails so many times before!😊
Up top another trail heads across Sumas Mountain heading towards the “Gold Mine Trail”.
Steeper, more dangerous trails can be explored here……..If you watch your footing!😳
